Haha, well, at least we know this album is definitely going to be happening. I'd be shocked if he wasn't signed, even if he doesn't make the finale. Haha, but yeah, maybe a little premature. ;)

Blake will probably sell the most after Idol (or be second to Jordin). He's got an eclectic sound, so it should be interesting.

Blake has a chance to make a really good cd with some radio friendly music that might propel him to Daughtry status.
But I could also see him go the Katharine/Kim route-make a decent cd with some radio friendly music, but for some reason something never clicks and the cd sells fairly disappointingly.

Well, Chris Richardson has already been voted off and he spoke about the direction his album would go in so I understand his thread.
Blake is still in the game so a thread on him right now is pointless because he hasn't spoken about it.

I don't get the concept of this thread or the other one for that matter Have we confirmed there is definitely a debut album? There will probably be one eventually. I read somewhere that Idol contestants (non-winners) have to wait a certain amount of time before they release an album. I don't know what the exact time amount it is, but it's a certain amount. And of course, he'll need a label to release it. |

Well, they have to wait until after the tour to accept any offers. But, i don't think they have the album restriction anymore, considering Kellie Pickler last season released an album before anybody.
