I wonder why it's just one song. It's not a secret he has several dozen unreleased Aaliyah tracks in his vault. (Mostly from OIAM recording sessions.) Hopefully it'll be just an appetizer.

This "unreleased" demo is mediocre (This is/was an unfinished leftover from the "Aaliyah" sessions btw). I see why Aalyah left it unfinished and I could have done without Timbo and this random rapper jumping on it smh.

Ok, now it's clear why it's been released just on his mixtape. It's rather short & repetitive. + the 1st verse leaked about about 1.5 year ago (in poor quality) on youtube as Quit Hatin' but was deleted just hours later. I haven't judged/labelled her unreleased material as SONGS since IC4U LP days. These are just parts & pieces of Baby Girl. For me, it's just her vocals that really matter & they're great, smooth & silky, very Aaliyah... Imo, they're from OIAM era... I'm totally torn; I appreciate it, but I need MORE.

I have been jamming to this album the last couple weeks. I burned a copy that includes Try Again, Are You That Somebody, and Don't Know What To Tell Ya. I really wish her family/Blackground would get this album and I Care 4 U out there digitally for new fans to discover and enjoy, and for us to be able to add to our playlists. My 2000s list is incomplete without her music!
