I am so grateful I bought the One In A Million CD, Dr. Doolitle soundtrack, and burned the leaked copy of Aaliyah (given how much I played that album out, one of my biggest regrets in life is not buying a legit copy). Imagine having to rely on streaming to listen to one of the greats and not being able to. I have Age Ain't Nothing But A Number on cassette but I haven't had any desire to listen to that in ages. Actually, thanks to I Care For You compilation, I have Back & Forth and At Your Best, which are the only two things I care about from her debut anyway. I also have her contributions from Romeo Must Die.

Why don't they want to put her stuff on streaming sites??
Wouldn't everyone involved around her estate make money if they were?
I own all of her cd's and a few of her singles so I don't care but it stinks in this streaming world if someone yanks there stuff off of it.

Im just really confused as to why her music isn’t getting the proper handling it deserves. Can someone fill me in - I already understand her uncle, Blackground drama etc but as her family, do they not want to do ANYTHING to commemorate her? Even if they didn’t want to put her music on streaming...re-releases? VINYL? They would make profit off of vinyl, I can tell you that. It’s such a shame.
