The new season of “Braxton Family Values” is set to premiere on Nov. 10 at 9 pm ET/PT on WE tv. Expect more drama, more tears, and a lot of emotions. Toni, Tamar, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Miss E are back for your sheer entertainment. This season, Toni leaves Atlanta for Los Angeles but runs into more health issues while Tamar begins work on a solo album. Traci returns to beauty school and Towanda pursues acting. A wrench gets thrown into the family drama when Trina begins to focus on music and someone who isn’t her husband. Miss E continues her search for Mister Right all on the newest season. This season on”Braxton Family Values”: SEASON PREMIERE
EPISODE 1: “R.E.S.P.E.C.T”
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10 AT 9PM ET/PTEvelyn and Traci visit Toni’s new house in L.A. While there, Toni reveals a secret Tamar is hiding, causing a showdown that leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Fed up with her attitude, Evelyn decides to show Tamar just who the head-Braxton-in-charge is. Meanwhile, Trina and Gabe’s marriage is put to the test thanks to their new houseguests: Towanda, a still jobless Andre and their two kids! EPISODE 2: “BEAUTY SCHOOL DROP-OUT”
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17 AT 9PM ET/PTTamar finally decides to come clean with her sisters on her solo project. As she forges ahead with her career, she’s unsatisfied with the producer her husband Vince has chosen and goes behind his back to meet with someone she’s selected. Toni, unhappy with Towanda’s replacement, enlists her to whip the new assistant into shape. Looking for her own path, Traci decides to give up the singing dream and returns to beauty school. EPISODE 3: “A SNOOPING DOG”
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 AT 9PM ET/PTA jealous Gabe bothers Trina by showing up uninvited at her band rehearsal, leaving her livid. Andre shows Towanda his book about relationships, causing Towanda to rethink theirs. Tamar decides to put her gift of one-liners to work, when she gets a job as a guest morning D.J. in Chicago. EPISODE 4: “NEW DOO-WHOP CHICK”
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8 AT 9PM ET/PTToni finally asks Traci to sing backup for her upcoming gig in Indiana. But her request for Tamar to teach a nervous Traci the choreography may not be the best idea. Meanwhile, Towanda’s attempts to jump start her acting career, lands her an audition for a commercial. Evelyn introduces her new boyfriend to Trina.

Yeah, Libra is such a classic album to me. I wish it was more represented in her live shows, but then again, that era probably wasn't too fond of a memory for her.
From It's midnight, do you know where your man is? to her previous hit song references (Finally) to that unexpected acoustic gem Shadowless, that album was such a solid effort.

I think "Pulse" is her best work to date. I adore EVERY song but Libra, is also solid.

A source told S2S he was rushed to the hospital last week because he was having trouble breathing. Contrary to initial reports, Vince never collapsed. Doctors found a blood clot in his lungs and he has since been put on blood thinners. Vince wil likely be in the hospital for another week or so, but we hear that he is "doing much better" than he was. According to TheYBF.com, Vince was in New York for some business meetings when he had to be taken to the hospital. Vince has been in good company since the emergency as our source said that Lady Gaga, whom he manages, visited with him for several days. Vincent's wife, Tamar Braxton, reportedly hasn't left his side since the emergency. Supposedly, fans of "Braxton Family Values" might see what happened on the upcoming season as cameras were rolling during Vince's episode.

Hopefully, L.A. can get her recording career back on track. Maybe (just maybe) he would be able to do something (like he helped Mariah and JLo). Maybe not on the magnitude of Mariah's comeback but still hopefully something like Monica's "Still Standing" album. :) |
