Not that I would go, but I find it a bit odd (and rude?) that they aren't coming to Canada, despite the fact more of their singles went #1 here than in any other country (even their homeland). We even supported them during their mega-flop "Forever" era. Booooo!

I imagine there'll be far more than 11 shows, I think Fuller is testing the water and figuring out demand. Suffice to say, there'll certainly be more than 1 in England.

i'm guessing those will be all the U.S. dates. 3 shows seems to be fairly generous. i can only imagine how much money these girls will be making for a month of their lives!! insane.
anyways, i'm definately going to try to go. Girl Power!

Spice Girls need computer power to boost their weak voicesBy RICHARD SIMPSON Last updated at 00:34am on 27th June 2007 When The Spice Girls announce their reunion tour, there is a intriguing secret they will no doubt be keen to keep from fans. They won't be belting out their songs just by Girl Power. . . but with the help of Computer Power. For while the showbusiness world eagerly awaits their return, aides closer to them have been less enthusiastic about their vocal abilities. So Ginger, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Posh are going into the studio to pre-record the songs for their tour - in order to mask the failings of their own live voices. On stage, they will employ a new hi-tech system which will present those digitally-enhanced recordings as their own voices. It works by taking the singer's live voice on stage and electronically comparing it to the perfect vocal sounds that have already been recorded in the studio. When the girls sing out of tune on stage, the mistakes in their voices are instantaneously corrected - in less than a tenth of a second - by computer to perfect the pitch and tone. And it is this remastered "virtual voice" which belts out across the arena. The girls' vocals are altered so quickly that it will appear the resulting perfect voices are live and their own. The system is not miming as such, because they are not just mouthing music to a backing track. But the voices of Ginger (Geri Halliwell), Scary (Melanie Brown), Sporty (Melanie Chisholm), Baby (Emma Bunton) and Posh (Victoria Beckham) are actually changed to make them better. "As they sing, the computer program corrects the mistakes so that the sound comes out as the desired sound - so they appear to be able to sing really well live," said an industry source. The system is being seen as a godsend for Posh - who is known for her particularly weak singing voice. There have even been suggestions that while they are short or rehearsal time, the girls will use the computer enhancement to make sure they can perform as soon as next Sunday at the Concert for Diana at Wembley. A Spice Girls spokesman was adamant that detailed touring logistics which would cover the use of live vocal enhancement had not yet been discussed, adding: "They all have great singing voices." SOURCE
That just sounds so over-the top.

Is there even such a thing? I know for studio recording there is. The only Spice Girl i havn't seen live since 2001 is Victoria. All the others still do live (well, rarely) so i dont see why they would use it.

I am very curious to see the Greatest Hits tracklist! And I REALLY hope they release a new song with it. Maybe get a kick ass producer and make a really great track. It's possible!
If not, I'm wondering how they'll promote it.

i'm listening to Who Do You Think You Are? i liked that one. i wish it had a U.S. release.

Victoria mentioned Simon Fuller masterminding "this tour, this album"- so, will it be a new album or a GH?

I really hope they make a new album. They all look incredible, they were all girls before but now they're hot women. Anyone who grow up while they were hot can't help but feel some nostalgia, even if you weren't like fanatic. I wasn't even that crazy over them then and I'm trippin now, real excited. I hope this does really good.

That's a very short tour, isn't it? Unless more dates are added on...

From Ask Billboard: Keith, Greetings from Las Vegas. Hopefully you can settle a bet or two. I just got through reading on Billboard.com that the Spice Girls are reuniting for a limited tour and one of the stops is right here in Las Vegas. But it seems like quite some time since I have heard anything about the group... or even the individual members' solo releases. I seem to recall Geri Halliwell and one of the Melanie's have released solo CDs here in the States. Bring us up to date Keith. How about the sales figures for the three Spice Girls CDs along with any noticeable sales of solo offerings? Charles Novak Las Vegas Hello Charles, I've already submitted my name in the lottery in order to get the chance to buy a Spice Girls ticket, so I'm eager to answer this question. Spice Girls released three albums in the U.S.: "Spice," "Spiceworld" and "Forever." "Spice" has sold 7.4 million in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan, while "Spiceworld" and "Forever" have moved 4.1 million and 207,000, respectively. ("Forever" was released in 2000, after Halliwell had left the group and Spice mania had already faded.) In the U.S., the group charted seven top 20 singles on The Billboard Hot 100, while over in the U.K., they've hit No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart a whopping nine times. Halliwell's debut album, 1999's "Schizophonic," has moved 181,000 in the U.S. None of her later releases were issued in America. Melanie C's "Northern Star" debut, which spawned the dance hit "I Turn To You," has sold 95,000 in the U.S. Her later albums didn't see a U.S. release. Emma Bunton's "Free Me" album, released in 2005, has shifted 17,000 in America. Again, no other Bunton sets have bowed in America. Melanie B. and Victoria Beckham did not release any solo albums in the U.S. All five of the Spice Girls had success as solo acts outside America. Adding up all of their solo hits, they've earned over 20 solo top 10 singles in the U.K.,¬ eight of which were No. 1s.

Wait, so I've heard a lot of people talking about this reunion. Are they getting together just for the world tour? Or are they gonna record an album?

It's not a new single actually, AOL is sort of crazy and put this up Full Stop is a track from VB 2002 album sessions with Tel Star records, a record company that eventually went banckrupt and everything regarding this possible album went shelved. Until last year when it leaked (almost completely) on the net.
Full Stop is from that era and it's not a single. Even cos VB is ashamed of that material she recorded and wished it never surfaced

Spice Girls to release new tracks on TV specialPop sensations the Spice Girls will debut two brand new tracks on a BBC documentary about their comeback. The band will also take part in BBC charity telethon Children In Need, and they are rumoured to be writing a song especially for the campaign. BBC One controller Peter Fincham says, "We've got full involvement from all of them. "They are all keen to get involved with Children In Need. Ent. Weekly's article also indicated that they didn't know if the new tracks they're working on would be on the GH album.
