Green Day's new song took an impressive jump from 40 to 26. What's more impressive is its moves over the holiday break, especially for the unpublished December 31 chart. Using the "Sans recurrent lists", I pieced the chart together and "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" moved 35-28 that week while the rest of the chart was pretty stationary for the most part. Could that become their biggest hit since "When I Come Around" a decade ago? I hope so, since it's one of their best songs IMO. Nothing like that revolting "Time Of Your Life"!

The last time it was in the top 50 was either 10/15 or 10/22 (I'm missing one of the charts so I don't know which week).

The way I figure it, the songs that didn't get many recurrent spins were the ones to have the bigger increase the last week. Am I right to assume that?

The 11/12 chart was "My Place's" last appearance on the chart.  From that point on it moved as follows (italicized weeks are the unpublished holiday weeks):
