It is some sorts show/ad where they present a song and then play it. Something a label pays for.
I was wondering if you can see format starters on songs. I have clicked on a few and I can't see anything. Someone told me that if a station has just started to play a song and it has played it atleast twice then it will show up there. Is it something we can see our do you need to a password or something.

When are the Grammy's? Early Febuary, right? Because unless Green Day gets the Grammy push, Eminem could reach #1 before them.
Now, I do predict that Green Day will dominate the Grammy's, including taking home album of the year (Kanye is the only thing in their way, IMO) and rock song of the year with AI. If that happens, their bullet will go back up and they'll get to #1 easy. But if not... Eminem is waiting in the shadows.

It's a ad program run by Entercom. The label pays for their song to be featured in the ad and since the ad plays the whole song it counts as a spin for the song. They usually play them late at night because it's harder for stations to sell ad space to regular advertisers then. My station plays them every half hour or so starting at 12:30 am. So basically, it's a type of payola.

Mind you it's perfectly legal as long as they start it with "Brought to you by..."
And I sincerely hope Ciara doesn't hit #1.
