Maxine just posted a boomerang of the 5 of them on Instagram. Not sure what to make of it! The performed for Sylvia Rhone, (chile yes, THAT Sylvia Rhone) there's a video on facebook of them singing "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" - I literally died 3 times already this morning   |

Such a crazy surprise! Dawn and Max look great. The 5 of them look great together! I'm not sure how other people feel, but so glad that they're doing something with the 4 of them PLUS Rhona rather than putting her to the sideline. That's the way it will work. |

She was always willing to step aside every time Dawn and/or Max wanted to come back and I'm glad this time they said "oh no girl, shante you stay!" - I love this. Hopefully, they at least go on tour. I'm sure they could do numbers similar to Xscape. |

How long before Dawn gets upset again and decides to go solo....AGAIN. If they ain't doing something with this then they shouldn't even be getting our hopes up.

It took them almost 15 years to put Electric Café out, so I highly doubt any recorded music would come from all 5 together.

TBH...I LOVE Rhona, but lets be real. She is eating off the table the original 4 set. The current EV3 line up is touring based off the nostalgia of the original from 97 and one top10 urban AC hit will not change that. Ship her ass off and give me my origingal funky divas back.

That didn’t take long. This original 4 is far too combustible for me to sink much hope into this reunion sticking (for long at least) but I’ll always root for them. Grateful I saw them live when I had the chance.

People want the original 4. All 5 of them together looks weird to me. I doubt if ANYTHING will come out of it in 2020. Dawn and Max have to be a little smarter with what they put out publicly. They have the fan interest, but they can't shade Rhona publicly. They could easily do a tour with the original 4 and let Rhona come out and do a couple songs with Cindy and Terry from Soul Flower and Electric Cafe. I think Rhona does deserve that much.
They also will need to do a reality show to capture all of this. Maybe something on OWN since Terry and Cindy are so worried about putting out negative content for reality tv.

I used to LOVE En Vogue. Don't Let Go is still one of my all-time favorite ballads and Free Your Mind still sounds fresh today. Plus Whatta Man?! Ugh I miss them.

Rhona has more cumulative years in the group than Dawn at this point and is only a few years away from tying Max.
Just because she wasn't with them during their most commercially successful period should not deprive her a spot on tour. I would be down for an EV5 tour, but it sounds like Dawn and Max aren't up for an EV4 or EV5 tour. Also, THEY LEFT so them shading Rhona just comes off as petty and childish.
All of that said, it IS amusing that Dawn & Max did the leads on most of their biggest hits: "My Lovin'" "Don't Let Go (Love)," "Giving Him Something He Can Feel," "Whatta Man," "Give It Up Turn It Loose"

It doesn't mater how long Rhona has been with them singing hits that she was not apart of. She is touring based on someone else's vocals and hard work. Screw her. People want the original members. period.

Cherry Red already did an amazing Remaster/Re-issue of Born To Sing last year in the UK. I wonder if this is going to add anything to it. If not, I'll stick with that one.
