EV is playing a show close by in August. How does Rhona fit in with the group? It's just tough without Dawn and Maxine, whose voices were so distinctive.

I think she fits fine in the group. I believe she takes over most of Maxine’s vocals, while Cindy/Terry does Dawn’s. I do like how they sometimes perform non-album tracks like “I Love You More” due to their current lineup.
However, I do feel Maxine and Dawn’s vocals are really missed if you’re a fan and know who sings what in each of their hits.

I saw them roughly a decade ago and the only song that stood out w/o Dawn and Maxine was "My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It)." They just left out Dawn- and Maxine-heavy hits like "Giving Him Something He Can Feel," "Don't Let Go (Love)," and "Give It Up, Turn It Loose."

I saw them perform around a 10 song set in a club setting. I saw them in their dressing room and could tell Cindy was not happy. Lol The performance was great. Though Cindy again didn’t seem all that happy to be there, but loosened up by the end of it. My favorite part was when a stan thought the show was over after an “Electric Cafe” medley.. lol I don’t think they even sang “My Lovin (never gonna get it)” yet. Lol! You’ve got to love Stan’s… lol

There’s a new compilation vinyl for them out now, as part of the Now Playing series. Walmart has an exclusive blue-colored vinyl:

I've only seen them with this current line up doing all of the hits, it works for me. I wouldn't mind seeing all five to be honest, in a perfect world.

^Good to hear. The other two had been back at some point after first leaving; would have been nice if they stayed put. hehe

WTF was that? Why do all her songs sound high school bedroom production amateurish these days? And why are her vocals buried so far in the mix?

I didn't realize there was a time Maxine and Rhona were in the group together.

I didn't realize there was a time Maxine and Rhona were in the group together. I kinda remember them touring too. It feels like it was the four of them I saw open for Keith Sweat, then Dawn came back and it was the original four, then when I saw them again it was down to the now trio (Cindy, Terry, Rhona). I forgot to post, Maxine dropped a new single at the beginning of the year: And looks like a pre-order for her Maximizing EP is out: 1. Maximizing 2. Not Your Freak (feat. Big Freedia) 3. Didn’t I 4. Do You See Me Now?

Even though this scenario is extremely unlikely, I would max out my credit card to see this tour.
The scenario: Destiny's Child does a reunion anniversary tour as #DC5 with Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle, LeToya, and LaTavia. It is a joint tour like SWV x Xscape with En Vogue, but it is #EV5 with Cindy, Terry, Rhona, Maxine, and Dawn.
If they can do it for Sylvia Rhone's party, I bet they could do it if asked by Beyonce and paid a high enough rate.

Nice to hear them discuss the Soul Flower album, their solo albums, the future, and how they stand with Maxine & Dawn.

I bet Dawn would join them for an #EV5 tour if the money and contracts were right.
