Yep, just as I'd predicted, here's this week's Big 40 Countdown from August 24th 1985, the second 1985 show in a row that's repeating last year: Next week, it'll finally be all about 1988! The good news -- hopefully -- is that last year they waited twelve weeks to play 1985 again. If they wait the usual ten weeks this time around, we will get something different in November. Also, very happy about the 1988 choice. None of the charts from 8/20 through 9/10 have ever been played over ten years, and I was afraid they'd skip right over them and play a repeat later on. I got Sirius in April and I have yet to see 1994 get played, but yet this is the 4th time they have done 1993. The last 1994 chart was played in April and the last 1990 chart was in May. The show is a joke. It's been on for almost ten years and the entire month of July 1996 has never been played. But some charts have been repeated four times.
