The 60s should give us at least a couple 1970 countdowns the first half of the year since we don't get Casey Kasem until July.

1986 next week which would be a new chart. But now we are faced with a the situation of getting the heavily repeated July 5, 1980 or July 4, 1987 charts 4th of July weekend. Not sure if we can dodge it, but my guess is they’ll throw another curveball and do 1982 and push 1987 (which has been featured 3 times already to August).

Yeah it does look like we'll get one or the other unless they go 87-81-80 or 87-81-84-80. I doubt they go 80, 81 back to back though

June 27th which was the week before Casey came on as was mentioned. Technically two weeks before. AT40 premiered on the 4th of July but it used the July 11th chart. But I agree, I wish they would've played an earlier week (in March or April)

What did they played at #1 instead of Diddy? nothing. the 90s on 9 don't replace the songs they skip, they just skip them. if they'd played something else I would've pointed it out.

This week’s American Top 40 is from June 21st, 1975. Premiere is also airing that same year this week (the June 28th chart), so I tuned into that instead on CKWW, which is why I'm posting this on Sunday night. 40 DE BARRY WHITE - I’LL DO FOR YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT ME TO39 DE MIKE POST - THE ROCKFORD FILES 38 DE GLEN CAMPBELL - RHINESTONE COWBOY 37 DE STEELY DAN - BLACK FRIDAY36 DE DWIGHT TWILLEY BAND - I’M ON FIRE 35 35 ELVIS PRESLEY - T-R-O-U-B-L-E34 DE OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN - PLEASE MR. PLEASE 33 DE GWEN McCRAE - ROCKIN’ CHAIR 32 40 MELISSA MANCHESTER - MIDNIGHT BLUE 31 39 EAGLES - ONE OF THESE NIGHTS 30 36 WAR - WHY CAN’T WE BE FRIENDS? 29 16 EARTH, WIND & FIRE - SHINING STAR28 30 SMOKEY ROBINSON - BABY THAT’S BACKATCHA 27 34 FRANKIE VALLI - SWEARIN’ TO GOD 26 32 Tony Camillo’s BAZUKA - DYNOMITE — Part I 25 31 BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE - HEY YOU 24 28 RAY STEVENS - MISTY 23 27 GLADYS KNIGHT & THE PIPS - THE WAY WE WERE/TRY TO REMEMBER 22 38 10cc - I’M NOT IN LOVE 21 24 CARLY SIMON - ATTITUDE DANCING20 21 SEALS & CROFTS - I’LL PLAY FOR YOU 19 20 ROGER WHITTAKER - THE LAST FAREWELL18 09 THE ELTON JOHN BAND - PHILADELPHIA FREEDOM 17 05 CHICAGO - OLD DAYS 16 08 JOHN DENVER - THANK GOD I’M A COUNTRY BOY 15 15 HAROLD MELVIN AND THE BLUE NOTES - BAD LUCK (PART 1)14 04 GRAND FUNK - BAD TIME 13 17 PILOT - MAGIC 12 13 ALICE COOPER - ONLY WOMEN 11 14 THE DOOBIE BROTHERS - TAKE ME IN YOUR ARMS (ROCK ME) 10 11 AWB - CUT THE CAKE09 22 WINGS - LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAN SAID 08 10 JOE SIMON - GET DOWN, GET DOWN (Get On the Floor)07 29 VAN McCOY & The Soul City Symphony - THE HUSTLE06 01 AMERICA - SISTER GOLDEN HAIR 05 07 MAJOR HARRIS - LOVE WON’T LET ME WAIT 04 06 JESSI COLTER - I’M NOT LISA 03 12 MICHAEL MURPHEY - WILDFIRE 02 03 LINDA RONSTADT - WHEN WILL I BE LOVED 01 02 THE CAPTAIN & TENNILLE - LOVE WILL KEEP US TOGETHERThey should used the old Radio And Records chart instead it actually had a pop radio chart. It'd be awesome if they did that & made it a top 40 show, though I unfortunately doubt they'll do either of those.

Unfortunately, Sirius xm is set on using the billboard hot 100 for their shows.
