regardless, quality of a song has very little to do with where it will peak. its not enough to say this song is better so it will peak higher or the inverse either. its about radio now and her competition and with christina, britney, rihanna, etc. all with songs, i think this may get lost Exactly, it definitely runs the big possibility of getting lost in such a big shuffle. And CHR isn't exactly known to spin country ballads, all I'm saying.

I think the "country" (banjo) added in was all machine without the real instrument; they'll take it out and send it to pop without banjo, I'm sure.

^its not about it being hardly country, its about it being a slow song by a predominately country artist who is not as big an artist as christina, britney, rihanna, mariah, etc. and with it not being an upbeat song that is infectious like Just Dance by Lady Gaga, it MAY get lost. it may not too but its really not looking bright for it with some of the songs coming out which are all 'loud' songs lol Breakin Dishes, Womanizer, Just Dance, Keeps Gettin Better, even So What, and those are just some female artists.

I think this will be the biggest country hit on pop this year (what is the holder currently?).

It's Our Song (I'm pretty sure because I think TDOMG peaked Decemberish). If it's Teardrops then this won't be the biggest hit. #15 is the highest this thing is going (assuming it doesn't get lost in all the new songs from pop staples).

All Summer Long is #4 and still climbing on Country, so if you count that as a country song, that's the biggest country hit of 08 so far on CHR.

Teardrops peaked at #7 on February 3, 2008. So it counts. All Summer Long is #4 and still climbing on Country, so if you count that as a country song, that's the biggest country hit of 08 so far on CHR. ASL doesn't count. It crossed-over to country, it didn't originate there.

ASL is most definitely a form of country, or it wouldn't be doing what it is on country. Unlike some other formats, songs don't "crossover" to country radio. A song has to be country for it to do well on country. So I don't see why ASL wouldn't count as the biggest country hit on CHR of the year.

Of course songs can cross over to country. "All Summer Long" did. Whether or not it's "a form of country" I won't argue since these genre definitions all depend on how inclusive you want to be and can't get anywhere, but Kid Rock is neither the first nor the last to have one of his singles do so.

The video is like a cheap rip-off from 'Pride And Prejudice' lol. The male model's outfit is exactly the same one from the movie.

I thought this was okay at first, now I LOVE it. I wouldn't want it to be remixed.

I was just saying that "Picture To Burn" had around 200 spins for a while before it was sent for adds. I just wish they'd push up the adds date. Too many new songs are coming out soon and if she wants a chance then she needs to start now. I hear she's quite the hit for all 3 Jonas Brothers if you catch my drift,... LMAO. Isn't she dating one of them? She's pretty hot.

If the first week had a full week of sales this could have pushed 200,000 plus in the first week. Now that is impressive.
