My favorite song from SC is the dance remix of SUTS. The regular version is OK but it got overplayed.

This is where she took a downturn imo. It's ok, but nowhere near the material from her first 3 albums.

Pretty good, but she's had much better.

I really liked this song. It was not as great as some of her others, but it's a nice Summer song. I loved Victor Calderone's dance mix of this. It really was hot.

If this would've come out a few years earlier, it would've been a much bigger hit on CHR. It's also more poppier than prior releases, so it should've done better.

It was my #1 favorite song of 2002; but I really got sick of it in '03. Now, I consider it just an OK song. Sheryl's "All I Wanna Do" is much better IMO.

"Soak Up The Sun" was one of several of summer-type songs in the summer of 2002. The others were "Hot In Herre" and "Complicated" (the latter doesn't have anything to do with summer, heat or anything, but it just had the appropriate summer feel).

This song was just plain annoying. I don't know if it's just the song itself or the vocal arrangements, but this one was absolutely dreadful. Nowhere near one of her best.

I'd rank it firmly midpack among the songs I've heard by Sheryl. It was perfect for the summer and was fun to listen to.

I can never decide whether I like or hate this song, but one thing is for sure: It's catchy.

I've always really liked this. Not as lyrically important as some of her earlier hits, but this was fun and catchy and really defined Spring/Summer 2002 for me. I'll always have fond memories of this song.

I liked this well enough at the time but can't stand it now. Her material, on average, definitely took a downward turn from this point. She's had great moments since then but nothing that stands up to her 90s material.

I kinda liked back then but tend to ignore it nowadays. Don't hate it either but still. Was played on the AC and Hot AC stations when I was younger (101.9 the Mix, 100.3, and Lite FM 93.9). Her best song was "All I Wanna Do". music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIYiGA_rIls

Yeah, this was a big miss for me. But she saved this era for me with C'mon C'mon.

This was awful and still is. A massive disappointment after putting out 2 of the best albums of the 90s. She's never been the same IMO

This was okay but it definitely felt like a step down for her at the time. I liked its follow up, βSteve McQueenβ more but I donβt think sheβd ever recapture the magic of her 90s material. I did keep (and still) getting her albums though. She does have some gems sprinkled throughout.
