Shania is mostly known for "fun" and "ridiculous" lyrics, but on this song she took a powerful subject and truly shone imo.
I love the single version, but I prefer the acapella version on The Woman In Me.

I thought this was a pretty good song but I hated the hypocracy of the music video. Essentially, Shania is singing about helping feed poor children and saving the lives of, and giving to poor children yet here she is all dolled up in big fancy colourful overjackets and overdone hair surrounded by these regular looking kids and the way she moves her hair out of her face when she's trying to sing all emotionally, ugh. Horrible video! Even if she meant it, she could have at least not made it about her for once.

It's a nice enough song and I appreciate the message, but as much as I do like many Shania songs, it's not really appealing to me musically. I support the song for what it has to say, but I wouldn't really choose to listen to it often.
