Weird...... I read somewhere that it went to #11 on the HOT 100 but when I go to the web page it's still at #17.... Does anybody know where it will be next week? #19, if I remember correctly.

Eragon debuted at No. 2, grossing $23 million on it's opening week. Not too bad but I think it will probably face a sharp fall due to bad words of mouth.

Yah Z100 has really been behind some great music this year and lead by example, its safe to say I forgive em for the 'Gone' situation for that They are stubborn when it comes to their choices though.. its like "Hey Z100, the rest of the country is playing THIS song" and they are like "We are our own country, screw off - were playing THIS song".

Barely. This is a flop, thankfully.

Down to +217. Sadly, it looks like this may be Avril's lowest peaking single to date. Grrr. I was hoping for a "Breakaway" here!!

I didn't really expect it. Now we can only hope "Girlfriend" is a huge hit. I think it's doing good in Canada; it's ALWAYS on the radio.

Barely. This is a flop, thankfully. It's not flopping. It's just underperforming. It still went Top 40 and is fairly strong. It's not a flop.

Doing well considering the label isn't promoting it at all. Looks like all of their efforts are focused on the new album. Unfortunate, because this really could have been a big hit if they had promoted it.

If it's not even gonna be on the album, they shouldn't promote it.

I think this was more like a heater single, and it's done its purpose IMO. It's a top 10 download hit and a top 20 Bilboard smash. Now, let's get on with the main attraction. Bring on "Girlfriend"!

I can't believe people think this "deserves" to be a hit. It doesn't. Its like she tried to re-create "Breakaway" except this version is so much more boring.

Anyone that has any knowledge about radio would know that ALL songs released the time this song was released loose their bullet (this time of year) no matter who the artist is or the song. Even SUBG lost it bullet before mid January....

You're not taking that Hot 100 position seriously, are you? This is the same chart that's given us 4 #1 American Idol singles that get virtually no radio airplay.

More big stations should be like Z100 and aggressively look for new music. I wish we had that out here. Actually our Hot AC now is pretty aggressive these days when it comes to new music.

Couldn't agree more, and yah I've noticed HOT AC as a whole moving faster than in previous years. Anyone that has any knowledge about radio would know that ALL songs released the time this song was released loose their bullet (this time of year) no matter who the artist is or the song. Even SUBG lost it bullet before mid January.... Producer pwnage. I still remember fans being worried SUBG would flop cuz of that lol..

Hot Ac actually plays great music and they will be a force to be reckoned with. Thats right atleast one of the few formats of radio still play great music. And I notice that alot of artists that are on Hot Ac are actually doing pretty well for themselves. So to this format I say job well done.

This song is still doing well!!! Still has a bullet on Top 40, top 15 on Hot AC (highest bullet), still top 10 on iTunes, and audience impressions keep getting higher.....

Yeah..I don't see why people are complaining about it and calling it a flop. It's doing quite well, but it's not a "Complicated". Then again, I don't think anyone expected it to do THAT well =/

I listen to a lot more Hot AC than CHR... of course the fact that I have 4 Hot AC's and one "CHR" in my area is the main reason for this. One of my Hot AC's (KBBY in Oxnard/Ventura) is a lot more "CHR" sounding than the one CHR that is in my market.
