I dont want a bunch of blithering love songs either though. I think there is a way to mature without going into the stereotype of "omg love love love sappy!" or staying stuck in songs like she used to do... I don't think Avril would ever do that to us lolol. I'm not worried about that. She won't do that to us. |

I wonder what the deal is? Still only 62 stations playing this? Did they not get the message that Avril has returned? Haha. I looked at the top stations and almost all of them are increasing spins, but only by like 5-15/week. Either this is just going to be a really slow builder or it's not going to be a hit like I was thinking it would. Oh well, at least Hot AC loves her!

Keep in mind that a lot of soundtrack singles flop, so for being from a soundtrack, this isn't doing half bad.

The label probably don't care if this flops. It's only for Eragon and they want to focus on 'Girlfriend', but I still hope it goes Top 20.

'Eragon' is getting extremely bad reviews lol. I'm still going to watch it this week though. Hopefully it will help the song if it tops the box office.

That wasn't actually released as a single unless I didn't get the memo.
I think if her official first single from the album is coming out in just over a month, they're not going to waste time with this one and just use it as a teaser. It's doing well on iTunes and Hot AC so I'd say that's fine.

LOL. Sorry. See the post before this.
I charted it also on both of my charts. Coming off of 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' (which had a video!) I wanted Avril to continue her streak.
On my MT40 chart, 'My World' became her first Top 10 hit. 'I Don't Give' spent 7 weeks at #11. Ouch! |

Unfortunately it might already be done on my station :'( . I was too busy to vote for it and the one night I didn't...it loses. New Champions: "Face Down" By the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus ending "Keep Holding On"'s 1 week reign..how embarrassing, who the hell are the RJA? I think I've heard of like one other song from them before...I think it was cool I can't remember! Anyway till they actually add this song its pretty much done on my station cuz they never played it outside the 9 o clock knockout program, so it goes from 10 spins a week to zip till that happens :'( |

Well hopefully that jump started some requests or they will look at the national popularity for it and decide to add it. Hell they did it with P!nk but that's cuz Alicia is loved on our station heh, same with Kelly & Beyonce.

I still think this song is boring. Like, I dont get the OMG #1 AMAZING HIT! quality that others are seeing in it. And Eragon sucked. That has nothing to do with Avril, but it needs to be said. What the hell were they thinking releasing that train wreck of a massive pile of crap?! I agree about what others said with them wanting to focus on Girlfriend. I doubt this will pull a "Breakaway" but more like be a side note to a very successful album run with 4 top 10 hits! (Ok, so the last part is my hope  ) |

Yeah, I'm not seeing the whole deal with this song. It's a nice song but it's not amazing in any sense. It has its good points but nothing special.

Thats not nessaceraly true, 'Eragon' may flop as a movie but that doesn't mean the song has to. Example Madonna's "I'll Remember." was from the movie "With Honors." which did bad at the box office. That song although was #1 for 9 weeks in 1994.
So KHO could do the same as the Madonna song even thouch 'Eragon' could flop. If radio stations dont play this song i will say wtf? This kicks ass. It reminds me of "I'm With You."
On my chart I normally base in on radio airplay dada, but maybe I should change the rule if friggin radio staions wont play a song that should be a hit what the hell this song kicks ass.
