This was the 3rd and final hit from No Mercy. It wasn't quite as catchy as "Where Do You Go" and "Please Don't Go."

Not bad. I liked their next single better (a cheesy dance remake of Exile's "Kiss You All Over"), but it flopped at pop radio.

come to think of it... was "please don't go" their only original single? No. It ripped off 'Where Do You Go'.

The only time I ever heard this song was on the "World Chart Show", in the spring of 1997. My radio station never played it and the only version of the Rick Dees show I had was Hot AC, so it never charted there (though since it's a mellow song, I don't see why not) and Casey's Top 40 wasn't available where I was. I rather liked the song. A welcome departure from their first hit "Where Do You Go/Please Don't Go".

When I Die just missed reaching the Hot 100 in 1997 peaking at #41 Scary chart world to live in, where hitting #41 is missing the Hot 100. ;)

I really like this song. It was one of the highlights on the album. i prefer this version over the earlier one by milli vanilli ... Me too. It was nice that the song was given to another act to hopefully make it better and perform better.

Y100 and Lite FM played this one like crazy, even though it wasn't as big. Mainly cause of the Miami influence.
