LOVED the song and video! Still love the song and vid! Especial how the chorus goes up an octave at the end of the song.
Where'd ya go, Stace?

Very good. She needs to follow it up or she's gonna be challenging Samantha Mumba for random disappearences.
She did chart two followup singles in the UK, "I Promise" and "I Could Be The One". Neither did all that well. I really liked I Promise though.

She needs to follow it up or she's gonna be challenging Samantha Mumba for random disappearences. Well, not really... Like Switchfoot, Stacie is first and foremost a Christian artist... so her #1 priority is the Christian charts... if her songs happen to cross over to CHR/Pop like this one and "Stuck" did, then that's great, but that's not what she's looking for... That said, I love this song... and I like "Stuck" a lot too... she's very talented and has a great future in the Christian music industry.... I just hope she keeps her focus on God and doesn't pull an Amy Grant on us!

Bleh. It isn't as good as "Stuck" and even that was cheesy bubblegum pop.

My favorite Stacie Orrico song! I LOVE this song. The Global Soul remix is also very good, but I like the original more. The song topped my chart for 6 weeks.

Great song, one of the best of 2003. Even though it was played a ton, I never got sick of it.

One of the most meaningful songs to hit the Top 5 in 03'. Great follow-up to the first single too. It's just too bad Lucy Woodward never got much credit for being one of the masterminds behind the song.

Much better than "Stuck." I think I remember Casey saying that this song topped the Christian Pop Chart.

I picked up this single without knowing the song because it was cheap and had a bunch of remixes on it. The Dr. Octavo mix was the highlight for me. Stacie's had some great mixes! The Chris Cox mix of I Promise and the Thunderpuss mix of Stuck along with the aforementioned Octavo mix are my favorites.

Where have you been, Stacie? Love this song, much better than 'Stuck'. And the video just makes me even like this than before.

This and 'Stuck' are both great. The video to this was great and she's really pretty too. Plus a great voice obviously. I wish she would have lasted a bit longer. Talk about one (two) hit wonder.

She really screwed herself over with that awful Beautiful Surprise album. Virgin wanted to give it a US release, but it was so bad, they just dumped it in Japan where she was really hot for a minute. I loved Stacie's singles (this one is especially amazing as well as the video!), but it looks like she's been replaced by Britt Nicole.

I used to be obsessed with her self-titled album, and this was one of my favorites. And yeah her next album was not very good, although I thought "I'm Not Missing You" was nice.

This was a pretty good pop song. It's hasn't particularly dated well, but I enjoy hearing it from time to time.
