The third single from their album 'Home'. I quite liked this one. The slowest of the four but it was good nonetheless. Peaked in the teens, I believe, on CHR/Pop in early 1996.

Love this song. My favorite song from their debut album.

You have your stats a little mixed up. In the States, the third single was "Oh Virginia", which peaked at 17 eleven years ago last Friday.
"All Along" was the 4th single, and was released in the summer. That peaked at 20, but had a little more longevity than Oh Virginia.

Yeah, and that showed on the year-end chart. While "All Along" ranked at #78 for the year, "Oh Virginia" didn't even make the chart that was listed in R&R (but it did make the extended list heard on Casey's Top 40 Year End Top 100, at #98)
I never cared for "Oh Virginia" at all - sounded too folksy. But I loved "All Along" - was one of my favorites from 1996. Sounds a little like "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John, another great song.

Oooh. I was thinking this was third because Oh Virginia was so odd sounding that I couldn't imagine them taking a chance on it for the third single. LOL. I forgot. I quite liked that one too!
