The pop-R&B flavoured smash hit is in fact my favourite Kim Wilde song. I saw that somoene say that the "do do do dos" kill the song. Well I actually hear "Do ya Do Ya Do Ya", IMO it puts the spice into the song especially the 9 minute club mix. The was released in 1986 at first because it was soundtrack song from "Running Scared" and even the second time it flopped here in the US, sadly. #44 Hot 100

I was the one who hated the "do do do do", which kick off the song. Maybe it's "do ya do ya", but I find it annoying anyway. I'm so glad this song fell short of making the Top 40.

This is actually my favorite Kim Wilde song, although I hated it back when it was first released... I think Y-106 (now XL-106.7) played a remix version that I didn't like.
I prefer the version on the Running Scared soundtrack, which is a little bit longer than what ended up on her album Another Step (which fades the song early).

The original 12 inch vinyl includes the soundtrack version which I have not even heard. On the singel it's marked as "radio edit". I saw this at our popular "used" record store.

Love this song. Kim was very underrated in America, but huge in Europe.

lollll. I love that Rod Temperton wrote this song, but yeah I don't understand why this song flopped in the US. It's actually one of Kim's better songs imo and is one of the best songs from the Another Step album anyways besides "You Keep Me Hanging On". My fav. Kim song overall though is def. "Thought It Was Goodbye" (underrated as shit).

This is easily my favorite Kim Wilde song. I love it. It was a big flop but still one of her more successful singles in the US. #29 in the UK and #44 in the US.
The music video was considered really racy at that time and was banned from some stations.

Are these guys so hot for Kim walking by in that slinky black dress that they have to have a moment to themselves?
The men in the video are super fucking hot tho, even in 80s fashion.
