I remember seeing/hearing it for the first time back in '95 on "120 Minutes." I liked it a lot then, and I still do. Come to think of it, most of the "Deluxe" album is pretty good, too.
"Good" was a #1 Modern Rock hit, and their biggest hit on the Hot 100, making the Top 40.

Actually, this reached number 18 on the R&R CHR/Pop chart...
You can't really rely too much on the Billboard numbers in the '91-'96 era as songs that weren't commercially released as singles were severely hurt in terms of chart performance.
I like it a lot, even to this day I still play it pretty often.

If Nirvana were too afraid "Smells Like Teen Spirit" could be seen as Pixies rip-off, I guess Better Than Ezra weren't that worried. And believe me: apart from the verses - which are sung pretty plainly -, the structure of this song screams Pixies rip-off from the get-go!

I think it's odd that they are still around and still doing not too badly despite being pretty much a one-hit-wonder from the mid-90s.
They've had a few odd-sounding songs over the years as well but I think 'Juicy' came out of left-field for them.

Good song but "Desperately Wanting" is my favorite from them.

Not a band I can think of too strongly about, but not bad at all.

Loved it. Had Deluxe on cassette. Loved "In The Blood" too.

Not a band I can think of too strongly about, but not bad at all. Yeah, I'm in the same boat, although it's odd: anytime I hear "Good" or any of their other hits, I'm quite happy to do so, but, I've yet to be tempted to buy an album. Dunno why that is. Nonetheless, great song, this.

This is so good. The nostalgia is real with this one.
