Not their biggest hit, but my favorite by them. You really feel for the guy by the end of the song.

I liked it. My favorite from them is probably "I Believe".

This song is ok. "I Believe" is a much better song, though, IMO.

I really like this song. It went top 20 on my personal chart. I like most of Blessid Union Of Souls music. But I think "I Believe" was horrendously overplayed here

Such a great song. In fact, BUOS is in general a great band. I bought their greatest hits CD and I am so pleased with it. So many excellent songs!

Yeah, these guys had the brand of pop-rock that I really loved in the 90's, and while most of there stuff would probably bore me now, it didn't stop me from attending their free concert on campus a month ago. This was one of their best singles.
Wow...I'm halfway toward monopolizing the most recent replies on this forum (at the moment)...

My favorite by BUOS hands down, and my favorite ballad of all time.Β I could have sworn I posted on this topic before.Β Such a great heartfelt song.Β I can really relate to having a long-distance relationship and then seeing the light in someone's eyes change as they get over you.Β

I only heard this for the first time earlier today. It does sound really poignant. For those who aren't sure what poignant means, it means "acutely painful".

The Light In Your Eyes got to #48 on the Hot 100 in 1998 This was duing infamous "transitional" ERA of Billboard where their Hot 100 was REALLY bad as they weren't even close to having a formula that made sense... it still isn't right now, but it's a lot better than it was then...

You're right john, Sugar Ray, Fugees, Will Smith were robbed of #1 pop hit because there record company refused to issue singles with their radio hits.

Yup... and let's not forget No Doubt's "Don't Speak" and the Cardigans' "Lovefool" among many, many others... Of course in R&R, these songs all did do quite well...
