I notice the spin loss was less too, maybe this whole Clive vs. Kelly thing is starting to favor Kelly. My local station played it yesterday morning talking about whats been going on between them and they asked listeners to decide whether Clive was right? BTW the poll ended up favoring Kelly!!!

There is a difference between wanting kelly to do well and expecting miracles. Expecting this to become a hit now is expecting a miracle from God that most likely will not come.

I'm not sure how an album being released with a sticker on it that says "including the top 10 hit NEVER AGAIN" is a bad thing because regardless of how some view this songs performance on the "airplay" charts, the fact of the matter is this song peaked at #8 on the BB Hot 100 and #5 on the Pop 100 so either way you slice and dice it, it's going down in the books as another top 10/5 hit on Kelly's record...and she wrote it which makes 5 song she's released that she co-wrote on that hit the top 10...that's pretty impressive IMO...
see that's what I'm thinking too... it's not falling as fast as some were predicting it would but I'm not pinning any hopes one this song having some magical rebirth (like U & UR hand did and like I'm sure they are thinking You Knew will do).... but IF (and that's a very LARGE IF) it did that would be so freakin COOL!!! I personally would LOVE to see the various heads exploding around here but then I'm immature that way I guess LOL....

OMG Sober is as AMAZING as I thought it would be!!! I seriously NEED this album like NOW!!! runs to listen again to that clip!
eta: :o Maybe is incredible too. I LOVED this song on tour but if this clip is any indication of the entire song I think I'll have died and gone to heaven! WOW... this album is shaping up to be fantastic!

I think what goes on in this thread is a true test to Kelly's charisma and personal magnetism. Even the people who don't like her are drawn to her. She's so interesting that everyone wants to follow her every move. I know that the atists I don't like don't interest me enough for me to bother reading up on. Something about Kelly draws in both fans and haters alike. That quality can't be bought or sold, and it's going to help Kelly out a great deal throughout her long career. agreed so much |

the clips are just so f'g amazing! I'm just stunned that Clive couldn't or wouldn't see the brillance in those songs...
as of the noon update she's still holding steady....I'm anxious to see what tomorrow brings that's for sure!
I agree with the .000000001% chance of this song making a come back but I've learned that with Kelly, ANYTHING is possible.... she's bucked the odds so many times that I never give up hope, even if there's just a glimmer of it left...
