I think you need to schedule a visit to the optometrist, cuz I see the stats for Hot A/C and POP being posted here everyday by her fans. And I think the talk about -300 and -200 and such is about POP, not Hot 100. And I think there's been quite lengthy discussion about how she's doing on Hot A/C and how she has a good shot at hitting top 10 there.
Oh but wait, I must be the one needing a trip to the optometrist because I must be reading things that don't exist? heh
Why am I even wasting my time - sorry guys LOL It's like a kid throwing a tantrum - if they don't get enough attention they resort to the outrageous knowing that's even harder to ignore. Kelly fans ONLY look at the Hot 100 chart. LOL I haven't laughed that hard since - well since the whole spiel about all someone's friends saying they know why Never Again flopped haha . LMFAO
I wonder if it hurts as much as I would imagine it must - you know, talking out your ass along with both sides of your mouth all the time heh

All anyone needed to do was log on to perezhilton.com the week after 'Never Again' came out to know that the single debut at #8 and then fell to #12 the week after. Many are well aware it under performed.
Perez called the single a flop in front of the 4.7 million hits it got that day. It's no secret.
Next single please...!!

I would like to point out though the video for this song is by far one of her best videos. Usually her videos aren't all that, but she really did a good job here. Very great concept and it makes the song better, especially the chorus. This is probably her second best video, only behind 'Behind These Hazel Eyes'.
And i will be buying her album because i own her other two and 'Breakaway' was the best album of 05, so i'm giving it a chance.
Just thought i'd add some positvety to my usual negativety.

Haha, now Perez Hilton is quite the hit predictor, eh ? How could I not agree with the above post: most of the visitors to his blog site acknowledge this uncanny ability and furthermore, rely on his musical industry-level expertise to learn about modern-day music.....good one!

ignoring that pesky gnat that keeps buzzing around this thread....
I ran a customized chart on mediabase this morning and for the first time Kelly showed up on the call out information...she was at #26 on Pop. It's been rather baffling to me since she's been in the top 5 on ratethemusic's call out info for weeks and it says mediabase USES ratethemusic... *shrug* oh well I was just happy to see her there... maybe that's a good sign...she had a low burn rate too of like 2.9% or something.

I think at this point it's obvious that this single slowly fall away, rather than plummet. This is a good thing, however, please release a follow up. RCA + Marketing =A crappy mess.
And i don't care what people say about RCA not being responsible for promotion. They have to be somehow. They've done the same exact mistakes with Christina that they have done with Kelly. That entire staff needs a makeover quickly. It's as if a bunch of message board posters run that record company.

I think overall we'd be doing a lot better if we addressed specific things rather that making generalization about what "fans" may or may not have said about the song or the artist. Because inevitably opinions will differ from fan to fan. Also, it makes the thread about things other than Kelly and the song.

Have there been other songs with similar chart runs to this? Where the sales are pretty stable and high, but the radio play sucks ass? I'm talking about a song that manages to stay in the Top 10 of digital (or physical; for examples from a few years back) sales for over a month, but has little radio support.
I don't feel like going through old charts to find out, so if someone could tell me that'd be great!
I still think this will regain it's bullet by album release date. (Or around it). Call me optimistic but I'd say by the end of this week it'll be in the -150 range. (That's so sad that I'm being optimistic about a negative bullet, but at this point hat else do we have?).
Still No.6 on iTunes??? How is this a flop? In general people, not just pop radio like that's the be-all-and end all of music success.
I think some like to throw that term 'flop' around too loosely.
People are hearing this SOMEWHERE and that is enabling the song to continue with its high download sales. Maybe Kelly just doesn't need radio anymore...
Radio is like Clive Davis, old and outdated.

!! I thought the same thing actually. I had to modify it 'cause I'm a crappy speller, and when I went back just now it ain't on there. I'll re-add it. ;) Have there been other songs with similar chart runs to this? Where the sales are pretty stable and high, but the radio play sucks ass? You are sooo right!! Radio isnt what it was in the past..we are in the Digital era!! As long as Kelly gets those big download numbers it dont matter

I still wouldnt call this a hit, but the major stations (z100) are starting to play it more so maybe the song isnt done just yet.

Hit is a relative term. Of course NA is a digital hit, but not so much on radio. I think the argument of whether this song is a hit or not is rediculous because there are so many levels to what a hit is. If this was the first single from an unknown artist, it would be their huge breakout single. Since this is coming from Kelly, I'm kind of disappointed with the lack of radio support so far. I'm not going to say this song is over yet.

OH MY f**kING GOD! I thought this was the Never Again thread not the thread from Hell! WTF? Mmmmmmmmmmmm,....................WOW!! HAHA!! To Kelly fans it's the Never Again thread from Hell. To SOME others it's the I can say anything I want, truth or not, with impunity and immunity. heh! Leno's such a great kick off to My December. I wonder what other songs she'll be singing from this era.
