Strangers is exactly what she has been promising with the live guitar sound, it does sound like it needs "filling up" with more instruments.
Someone on a blog put it best as a cross between U2 and Chris Browns "forever".
I'm glad shes keeping herself above the crowd and at the same time making sure she has radio friendly tracks like IGY.

Perfect Stranger is quite different for her... love the verses, she sings it great, but the hook could be stronger. I love how it's slightly darker.
Not feeling Brave that much.

I really hope I Got U and Perfect Stranger make the final cut but now they've leaked I kinda doubt it my only problem is Leona doesn't show of her voice enough in Perfect Stranger but I like what I'm hearing.

I'd say Leona's playing higher. So far she hasn't done any typical Hip Pop. In other words: not sounding like everyone else as the lot does. I'm hearing real music. I feel these demos. They're all very different to each other which is exactly how I like my mix. |

The tracks are not bad... can't say that I'm crazy about them tho. They don't hold a candle to Better In Time. I like Perfect Stranger the best, and Brave the least. Strangers is ok. I was honestly hoping for more with the sophomore album.... some of these seem like they could be rejects from the last album  I was hoping for something uptempo as the lead. Hopefully none of these are the lead single, and she'll have a strong lead single. |

She'll do what everyone else does, record about 50 tracks, then sort through them to find a cohesive set to make an album.
For me, Brave is the best, its a real grower, I love that track.
Also bear in mind, she is writing this material herself (with co writers of course).

Yeah, a month or so ago she said she'd recorded 20 tracks and was only half-done. 40 to 50 tracks sounds about right.

Im really liking i got you and perfect strangers, but she does need better for the debut single. These are only a few of like 40 she will have recorded.
I think PS and i got you will make the album, im not to fussed about the other two.
