Yeah I think it'll peak around there too. I don't see this making the top 10. It's having a similar run to It's Over by Jesse McCartney and has the same problem (previous single not falling fast enough), this will obviously fare a bit better then that song though. It already has! IO peaked at #23 Yeah I know  It's chart run so far still reminds me of that song though. |

I at first didn't like this song, but after listening to it all the way through, it's my current favorite song. It's just so pretty. :)

TOP 20 But ugly update, hopefully much better ones to come soon. >_> Yeah pretty sure this one's gonna be a slow grower...IMO prob. cause it doesn't have an "in your face" hook like IKAG or HNC - but IMO it's got a solid and original chorus and a sound that CHR kinda needs right now |

^Hot N Cold is still at the top of tons of playlists too though...thinkin that might be slowin this one down a bit - still think it's gonna take more of a Hot AC-type song approach to its chart climb, esp. since the Rhythmic-leanin CHRs that played IKAG and HNC prob. aren't gonna play this one (which is why IMO it's not rocketing straight up the charts like her two previous singles)
Still think it's a builder, with IMO really solid lyrics all the way through...and kinda sounds like a song by Michelle Branch (which is why I really think it's gonna run a pattern more similar to MB's Hot-AC type songs)

Top 20 CHR, Top 30 Hot 100, Top 15 iTunes isn't so bad for a third single from a new artist and a very different sound from her two previous hits. It's not a hit, but at this point it's not a failure either.
If this is it at least it was a quick single era. She still has plenty of momentum to move on to single four.

Whenever this finishes, they should go with the title track imo. This was still a good choice for diversity though.

It'd be an underperformance, but definitely not a flop. And I think they should go with Waking Up in Vegas next if this is done. I don't think this would hurt her momentum too much either. |

I love this song and I don't want it to flop. :( Still thinkin it's gonna be a while before this peaks (at least across formats)...it's most added this week at Hot AC Thinkin there's tons of CHRs that still have Hot N Cold in power rotation, and they're def. not gonna put both songs in power at the same time |

Great choice. WUIV will be a big hit, IMO, especially during the summer. It's just such a fun song. I'm still hoping SI will be fifth, but I'd be ok with OOTB or Fingerprints. Or even Mannequin or IYCAM, although I don't think those two are radio-friendly enough to be huge. I still think they're great so I wouldn't care. I'd obviously be thrilled if this turned around, and am willing to wait a month or so to see if it happens, but I'm not going to be upset if it doesn't. |
