The instrumentals on Save You sound exactly like the demo. Even Kelly's vocals sound very similar to Aimee's - none of those things are bad though. It's an amazing song.

That sucks. This will definitely hurt opening sales a little, but she has an incredibly strong fanbase so she'll still do well enough for #1 and beyond, I'm sure.

The album is okay, nothing great at all. May be Kelly's only album I will not buy.
I like about 5 songs though.

I'm really not feeling "Save You", I think the other three ballads are much better. I love the bridge of "Ready", it's fast becoming one of my favorite Kelly songs.

I like the full HU a lot better than I did after listening to the clip. But why would she change the lyrics of "keep your thing in your pants?" Best part of the whole song!

Great album. Definitely her best yet. I like every song except "Save You" and "If No One Will Listen".

If I was in charge of the singles of this era, I would have done:
1. Cry
2. The Day We Fell Apart
3. I Do Not Hook Up
4. Already Gone
5. Whyyawannabringmedown
(6. Save You)
I think Cry (as long as it's released) will be her new biggest song after this era.

I am a little worried that this leak will hurt sales, especially in these tough economic times. It's still 18 days until the official U.S. release. |

I'm not a big fan of Cry. Her vocals are perfect, but I think the song is just kind of bland and boring. I would prefer they did the singles like this... 1. My Life Would Suck 2. Already Gone (promoted as the 2009 Graduation song too) 3. If I Can't Have You 4. Whyyawannabringmedown 5. Cry (i suppose  ) I think the Katy Perry rejects aren't very good to be honest. |

It's really cool. I like it too. It does have a retro late '50's / early '60's pop vibe, but that's actually a fresh sound compared to contemporary pop. |

I love what she did with If No One Will Listen. It's really beautiful.
and I love the popped up Ready! I never imagined they would pop it up like that, but it turned out really well!

I haven't really settled on my favorite song on the album, but that one is a contender for me, along with 'Cry' and 'Whyyouwanna'. Plus I'll always love MLWS because it brought Kelly back to the top. :) |
