There is no need to repeat myself 73564903579324 times because it verges on trolling. I've criticized the album twice in this 86 paged thread. The rest of my posts have come from "debating" with Luver about the logic in my arguements.

The only two songs I can't seem to get into on the entire album are If No One Will Listen (which while I like cheesy sounds too much like a hallmark theme) and I Want You (which reminds me of Another Gay Sunshine Day without being as catchy. lol).

I think people shouldn't worry about these comments because even on Kelly's worst day, she can sing circles around most those other artist.

Oh, I guess I was distracted by you saying how this album sucks, how MLWSWY sucked, how everything Kelly's done recently sucks. I mean, I respect your opinion and all, but you do not need to say it time and time again. Let's be real. If I was screaming in this thread how much I loved this album I wouldn't be getting nearly as much flack as I have been getting now. It's not about me repeating my opinion, it's that my opinion isn't the same as the super Kelly fans and therefore is not welcome. True. I am a "super" fan of Kelly's, but I didn't like MD. Back in the early period after MD's release, I got the same kind of flack then for trying to explain why I didn't like the album as you are now for AIEW. After awhile, I just learned to shut up and keep my opinions about MD to myself for the most part. Now, three years later, the debate is so O L D for me that I cringe everytime someone brings it up again. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm someone who actually appreciates contrary opinions. I just think that this MD vs. the world discussion is so stale and tired. Now where's that dead horse...gotta go beat it a few more times.

I Want You sounds like something Duffy would sing imo. It even sounds like shes doing background vocals.

I love the lyrics of I Want You.
"Hot temper with the shortest fuse, You're such a mess with an attitude,"
"Out of gas, so you walk for miles To pick me up, in your worn out shoes You never settle, never take too much You count on me, just like I count on you"
"You and me walking together Screwing up, for worse or for better"
It's so Kelly.

Yeah. Ready, All I Ever Wanted, Already Gone, Save You, Don't Let Me Stop You and Whyyouwannabringmedown are definitely turning out to be my personal favs from this album! Even though it isn't the best song on the album, I'm always going to have a soft spot for MLWS because it brought Kelly back to the top. Having said that, my favorites are: Cry -- best Kelly song since BOY, in my opinion. Whyyouwannabringmedown -- love the hip-hop influence even though I'm not a HH fan. This is just so different for Kelly and it's a lot of fun. I Do Not Hook Up -- great song with a super contemporary message. I Want You -- pure retro fun. If No One Will Listen -- not so much for the lyrics, but for the sweet melody and beautiful vocals. For me, there isn't one throw-away song on the album.

I wonder if she'll try and do arena touring again. I dont think she should. I like the small intimate theaters she goes too those are cool.

It's funny cuz My Life Would Suck Without You is definitely one of my favs on the album thinking about it, I guess I just don't think to include it because it's not as fresh (new) to me as the others. lol

Both B.Monroe and luver are really just getting annoying. [ luver) need to let people express their dislike for this album. It sucks having your favorite artist's album criticized, but it's protocol. No, what you're really saying is to let people express dislike for the album ad infinitum without challenging any of the reasons behind it when those reasons amount to more than a personal preference. I haven't asked anyone who doesn't like the album not to express their opinions as you are now doing. If people shouldn't respond to posts they disagree with then learn to follow your own advice - let people make posts that you don't enjoy without galloping by on your own little pony and telling people what they should or should not post.
