Good song, as an Alternative Rock fan I prefer the last 2 singles, but I see some potential in this possibly. It would be their first top 50 hit since Original Prankster and their first top 40 hit since Why Dont You Get A Job if it makes it that far

My radio station played this yesterday and I had to change it. It's not a bad song, it's just I hate that of all their songs this is the one that's going to be the pop hit.

Not the worst idea I've heard this year--but it's among the bottom of the barrel.

Did Pretty Fly For a White Guy ever make the top 40?
I honestly don't remember. It seems like forever.

Wow. The Offspring can still crossover. Who knew?? One of very few alternative bands that manage that over the years and keep alternative cred. Very cool.

Offspring are a really cool band! They have had some ups and downs, especially when going too much on the "prank" side (Original Prankster, for example), but they always manage to get good songs on their albums. I still have Come Out and Play as one of my Rock favorites of the 90s. Congrats for this: another Top 40 and with a healthy bullet!! 45 38 OFFSPRING Kristy, Are You Doin... 1025 785 240 4.506

After reading that, and the thread talking about how having a debut single at 30 is OLD, I am feeling like a grandpa now I was already at college when I learned of Offspring

The guy that wrote in the Mediabase Monday Morning Update was dead wrong. Here is what he said : Only debut this week and it belongs to the OFFSPRING (Columbia). The group, who has been together for 25 years, actually charted for the first time at rock radio in 1994. 15 years later, they crack the Top 40 chart for the first time with "Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?"
No, they have had four CHR/Pop hits :
Come out and play #36 Pretty fly (for a white guy) #19 Why don't you get a job? #23 Original prankster #39

Love the Offspring except when they try to sing sustained notes (this song kinda hurts my ears IMO)

That was a figure of speech (hyperbole); I exaggarated the situation to clarify the matter, but it happens that SOME people update songs even when they're already dead.
