I'm pretty sure Sober and Heartless are far from peaking, and I think MLWS will only move once Single Ladies and Just Dance fall from the top 3. If Circus is really done, then ya, MLWS has a shot at top 5, but not because of Sober and Heartless.

If Circus is really done, then ya, MLWS has a shot at top 5, but not because of Sober and Heartless. You may be right. Even if MLWS has longevity, it might have to wait for SL and JD to fall out of the top 5. I'm looking at the mathematical spread in total spins between MLWS and the other songs above it. As of this morning, there are five songs with positive bullets above MLWS. The two closest to it with smaller bullets are 'Circus' and 'Heartless'. So I'm looking only at the fact that the spin gap between them and MLWS has to close considerably for MLWS to have a shot at #5, let alone getting past SL and JD. The mathematical gap between JD and SL is tiny, only 4 spins, but it's 596 spins between them and 'Circus' in #4. So 'Circus' moves to #3, and probably #2 sometime next week. 'Gives You Hell' moves into #5 tomorrow or the day after at the latest. But as of today's update there is a huge 3150 spin gap between JD/SL and MLWS. That's why I'm focusing on 'Circus' and 'Heartless'. If MLWS's rate of spin growth remains strong, it will definitely pass them both eventually. That's what I'm tracking for now.

I kind of want this to move up relatively slow, so that the other songs can fight it out amongst themselves and then this can replace whatever song is #1.

Its good that its slowing down a little. That way it can peak around the album release. :) Hoping we get a clip of Kelly performing this in the Bahamas.

While Sober and Heartless probably wouldnt have enough momentum to go to the top. Kelly just needs to hold on to its bullet and keep the healthy gain. Kelly's singles have been known for longevity. Just hang around girl, after AAR Britney Kanye and P!nk peaked, SUCK would be #1 easily without a fight. Nobody below her is really blowing up, but watch for Right Round (beginning to slow down abit) and Poker Face (taking off)

Imo, heartless has peaked, and will start sliding, sober may hang around for awhile, and AAR will probably gain as well.

It will go to #1 around/a little after album release^^ exactly, i actually saw the video on tv today, vh1, and the verses are so strong, but the chorus sounds a bit weak to me, i guess it will grow on me. Hell, "The Promise" by GA sounded weak to me one of their craziest fans, on first listen

Well nothing's certain one way or another. This song could slow down tremendously and peak here or it could speed up and blaze a path to #1. There's really no way of knowing this far out. lol

I think it is a certainty to go to #1 but as said you never know. I would be disappointed if it didn't hit the top now.

I bet the bullet will climb again. A lot of songs stall when they get to the top ten and then start climbing again.

9 8 KELLY CLARKSON My Life Would Suck W... 6093 5491 602 38.478 +53 Spins -76 Bullet +0.364 Audience Thanks for today's update, azriel. Not much movement for MLWS overnight. It was 1847 spins behind 'Sober' yesterday and is 1839 spins behind today. However, 'Sober' gained nicely on 'Heartless'. 'Sober' is now only 31 spins out of the #6 spot. If the weekend rotations don't temporarily slow it too much, 'Sober' goes to #6 tomorrow. 'Circus' and 'Gives You Hell' will both move up one or even two spots within the next 7–10 days. If the bullet for MLWS remains strong, it will be easier for this song to pass the peaking 'Heartless', although at it's current small rate of spin gains, MLWS would take at least two to three weeks to move into #7. To have a shot at #5, MLWS will either need to pick up steam again or have a lot of longevity.

Why did they lower the key? It sounds kinda odd, maybe it's just the quality of the video. I'm still diggin this song though.

^They lowered the key for the Grammys party as well. Great vocals as usual, I can't wait until she does a televised performance.

Yes but I'm quite curious as to why they lowered it. It makes the song sound flat, and plus it's low for Kelly anyway. I was expecting more from the live performance. I'm rooting for Kel!

I actually don't like this song in a lower tone at all.

I actually don't like this song in a lower tone at all. In all honesty I'm not too crazy about it either. That performance was like the original but deflated. It seemed to lack the intensity of the studio version. Maybe this is just one of those songs that is hard to replicate live though.

I love Kelly, but if she's not going to perform it in the original key, I really feel she should have recorded the song lower in the first place. I really don't like it when artists change the key. (Brandy did it, even Celine did it). Kelly has shown how capable she is live before, so I don't understand this.

I think I'm confused...wasn't this a radio concert for exclusive guests? not a television appearance or even a performance for the general public?
I don't even like this song that much and I thought she sounded pretty good, lower key or not.
and does anyone actually believe that Kelly's voice isn't autotuned to death on the radio version? I never believed for one second that she'd be able to pull that off live. Not that high all the time anyway.

Same with "Halo," it sounded bad in a lower key. I think she's capable of pulling it off, she needs to stick to the higher key. (Except that MLWSWY is infinitely better than H)
