I just listened to this for the first time on a stereo instead of computer speakers.... :o Did they record this with a play mic? It sounds really terrible in certain parts. With someone like John Alagia on board, it's surprising.

Like at the climax of "Say Goodbye" ? and I think "Last Letter" gets kind of messy too

I thought the album was underwhelming and Kat looks horrible. She is gorgeous, but someone sure hid it for this promo.

NBC just announced that Katharine McPhee will be guest staring on an upcoming episode of the hit comedy, "Community." Kat will play Chevy Chase’s step-daughter and potential love interest for Jeff (Joel McHale) in the first post-Olympics episode. www.ainow.org/index.php/tidbits/164...ry-10-2009 Also Kat tweeted about it she starts tomorrow Just got home. Pretty wiped! As some of you may know I start tommorow as a guest star on NBC's Community. Looking forward to it.

It's gross and seriously creeping me out. Aww, I love that avatar and the artist in it. Besides, desertflower was just stating the truth. Kat is gorgeous, but she looked much better with dark hair. Before she was drop dead gorgeous, a little bit like a young Jaclyn Smith, and the dark hair combined with her facial features gave her a slightly smoldering look and made her stand out. The blond hair washes out her face a little and she ends up looking like every other starlet out there. She still looks good, but she's not as distinctive and eye-catching as she was with long, dark hair. Guess you can add me to the list of those who don't love the new look. Album wise, however, I do like her new sound. Her voice clearly stand out and sounds wonderful. I wish the album had a little more variety tempo-wise, but overall I like it more than her debut. My favorites are "How" and "It's Not Right," and I think "How" should have been the initial single. The only real clunker for me is "Brand New Key," which I hate, mostly because it doesn't even sound like her. BTW, does anyone else think that the chorus of "It's Not Right" sounds an awful lot like the first verse of "Hotel California"? Just me?

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't like K's new look either. Clay just makes me feel a little nauseous at the best of times. A chubby snap of home boy 'ironically' getting down is too much to handle.

In that case maybe I'll post over here more often. Really the only peron that needs to like my avi is me. Sales figures are looking pretty dismal. I would have thought that Verve would have promoted her more. January is a horrible time to put out an album.

Katharine McPhee Covers ‘Shape’ Magazine February 2010The 25-year-old American Idol alum, who’s been open about her struggle with overcoming bulimia, told Shape she’s become more forgiving of her body. Check it: On refusing to obsess over weight: “The more I focused on my weight, the worse my bulimia got. Now I’m more easygoing. I stopped fighting myself and became more forgiving of my body. Ironically, the weight came off naturally through exercise but no dieting.” On living a healthy life: “At my last physical, the nurse took my vitals and said, ‘Wow, you must be taking care of yourself! Your blood pressure is perfect. You’re very healthy.’ Hearing her say that made me feel better than seeing an ‘ideal’ number on the scale.” Kat’s issue of Shape will be on newsstands Monday, January 18! justjared.buzznet.com/2010/01/13/katharine-mcphee-covers-shape-magazine-february-2010/

She has a slammin' body. The thing is, that hair is preventing her from being hot. It looks fucking gross.

I like her better as a brunette, but hair grows back. She is still a beautiful girl with a killer voice.

She is in incredible shape. Thin but not frail. Very lean, trim, and fit. And most importantly, healthy.

Wow, is this her first magazine cover?! Definitely not. She's done a few others...Shape in 2007 and I think People when she got married.

WOW, that was an amazing performance. Possibly her best live national TV appearance yet! I would be very happy with It's Not Right being the next single. She nailed that song last night!

She has a slammin' body. The thing is, that hair is preventing her from being hot. It looks f**king gross. I thought the same thing- and unfortunately the bad hair is what people are talking about when I hear her name, not the music, which is not good. Her body is incredible in that shot and then she's got like this shaggy mane covering her face, like someone just plopped a wig on her head. WTF is she thinking?? I'm almost thinking she is trying to subconsciously sabotage the whole era.
