So, do you think Celine's music career is over?

No.
I'm sure she'll continue to sing songs.

Don't scare me like that! I thought that she was actually dead, as in killed!

So, do you think Celine's music career is over? I assuming you're talking about AC. No, I don't think her career is over...what causes you to ask this? Not that I really care about her AC hits, but I see no reason why her success at this format should stop.

Glad the topic title was changed... John probably had a heart attack when he saw the original.

If being paid $100 million to perform in Vegas is of any indication, her career (unfortunately) isn't dead.

I read in the Parade mag. that she had the 2nd highest tour sells, just behind Bruce Springteen with like $160 million, I think Bruce had $188 million.

Why is she pushing the albums like there really is no tomorrow for her? I don't think it's really doing her much good... except in Canada where she always has decent sales. I don't think her career is dead just yet but it is in the decline now.

It seems most older female artist are doing bad on the charts, like the only one who hasn't had a flop is Janet and her new single has hit -200 plays after hitting 18.
Celine though still has most album sales then most older female artist.

When Celine decides to start recording hits again, she will see the chart success return. βOne Heartβ was a collection of second rate material that a world class singer shouldnβt be recording.

Agreed. Although there was a few greats, this was mostly a filler album. Let's see the first rate material now!!!
