i'm surprised by how well this is starting to chart in the uk/ireland & oceania. it's probably mostly thanks to jai ho though.

Bottle Pop, Magic, and Halo wouldn't be stalling in the mid-40's right now. Damn Interscope Records. That stupid I Will Survive Remix killed it for me. I can't listen to it on radio when it goes upbeat. I love the original ballad version.

Like I said on another single flop thread... can't they frikken perform this on some show in the US... even if it's Maury or something, go to Univision on Despierta America lol. That will help them at least a little, anything will.

I understand what you are saying Tabitha, but I at least figured with z100 spinning the hell out of this it would have went maybe top 40 maybe? Time for a new album, cause obviously they aren't getting hits, and this time Nicole needs to let the others sing. |

Overall, it seems like everyone's divided on how well this song is going to do.
So far, it's no "I Hate This Part" but it's no "Jai Ho!" and then again it's no "Whatcha Think About That" either. I don't know really...after having seen the video numerous times and heard this single get regular spins on my radio (more the remix and less the original) there are times when I find it catchy. But after a while, I'm mainly indifferent to be honest - it's not great yet it's not bad... I guess I don't care much for this song as I did with some of their previous ones.
Nonetheless, I hope it does well enough for them to have another hit, and I think it's fair enough to wait it out and see how this does for as long as it remains in the Top 50.
It's not doing a whole lot in Canada at this stage, but there are some stations that have added it to certain dayparts, and a few others are still spinning Jai Ho!

They should have used the expensive video for something upbeat like "PW" or "Magic" or "Elevator." A catchy radio song...THEN release the ballad version of 'Hush, Hush.' Those moves could have redeemed this era...but no...

Moved up to #15 from #16 this week on The Official Australian Charts..
Hush Hush; Hush Hush is currently #2 on Itunes music video chart (which counts towards our charts)
Hush Hush (Original) is at #13 on the Itunes Top 100
Hush Hush; Hush Hush is at #35 on the Itnues Top 100

They need to do promo and they will do some soon because their tour just ended. They only have one date in Las Vegas and from June 27th until July 17th they are free to do promo!
