Im amazed by how much i like Kris' album more so than Lambert. I was kinda pissed when Kris won, but now Im glad he got the crown over adam.

I felt nauseous after Kris won. ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif) Back then I was a huge Adam stan. I loved Kris too but I was so invested in Adam winning it all. But now I like them both equally, and I even prefer Kris's album.

I really hope Kris does well aye. America needs every positive role model they can get at this point. Come on, people, support..!

If I want a role model, I look to Jesus, not American Idol singers. Just sayin'.

Children need parents to do their job, not rely on television to raise their children.
Kris' sales are sinking faster than a rock, but I can't say I'm surprised.

114,992 after 2 weeks isn't that bad. If sales keep steady, he'll be able to make it to gold.

Yeah this era is far from over... if they release BWCU as second single. ![](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif)

i agree and disagree, yes parents should, but they're not the ONLY role model. kris allen indeed a good idol to children these days and not miley cyrus or justin bieber. miley i agree, but so far justin bieber hasn't done anything bad that i've seen.

Seeing as how Jive didn't push the 2nd singles of their other flop artists (Archuleta/Sparks) I think Kris will get a 2nd single, but they won't throw their weight behind it this time around.

Is LLWD dead? Last I saw, it's bullet was steady and it was nearing top 30 on CHR.

LLWD isn't dead, but it's slowing down. If you look at the stations that are spinning it, they're either holding steady or decreasing their play of it. Only a couple are really increasing their play in any major way.

i think it is better that we pray kris single done well than his album.it may reach gold if the second single does well but i always fear that kris allen will go the same path as jordin.successful first album and singles but second album did poor for singles and album.

But the thing with Jordin is that she depends on other people to write hit songs for her. Kris can write his own hit songs on the second album. If he's successful with this first rushed record, then that only promises great things for the rest of his career.
And yeah LLWD is not dead, it's looking like it will go top 10 on HAC, maybe even top 5. Next week it will be top 30 on Pop, and it's still climbing steadily. February will probably be its peak month.

saw this on mjs blog
Kris did an interview with a Kansas radio station today. The DJ (@brodie957) tweeted for questions, and several people asked him to ask Kris about his studio time. When the DJ tweeted his thanks for Kris, I asked him if he got an answer about this. Here is his response to me: @kt_cle I did…he said he was recording a track for a tv show and a “cool cover song”..

LLWD has healthy spincreases on both HOT AC and TOP 40. That couldn't happen if all of the stations were decreasing their aiplay. Kris is also picking up new stations every week. LLWD still has a lot more life in it.

Most artists would be very happy to flop so hard as those two. Kris, Adam and Allison would love to flop so hard. That's the kind of flop that gets you more albums.

there are many artist or musician continuously making hits and release singles that barely reach top 40 and sell that much.so jordin and archuleta isnt flop but both isnt top artist as well.in the middle and doing good but not great.

Although I wish Kris' album were selling better, it is in much better shape than Allison's. I checked both itunes and Amazon about an hour ago, and Kris' album is higher in it's third week, than Allison's in her first week, on Amazon. Her sales are a little better on itunes, but still not good for a first week. Her single is really doing poorly at itunes.
I think Kris has much better prospects for the long term, than does Allison at this point. Kris is my favorite, but I hope Allison can hang on as well.
