I actually really like this! Not as good as Kelly's but I'm starting to like her voice a bit more I like her voice too. It's completely different than Kelly's, but she has her own distinct and unique sound which is very cool.

Kelly should go on the DWTS finale, do we know if she has a tour date conflict with it? It's sometime n December, but the exact date I don't know. That would be phenomenal, the audience that watches that show is really right up her alley, and probably the audience who hasn't gotten her CD yet. Mom's who love her, but haven't probably gotten the CD since she hasn't had too much AC support (up until now), and old people who don't listen to the radio but when they see what they like (Kelly) they know it. LOL.

Also, not to point out the obvious, but she needs to do at least one more round of promotion this era on Idol when it starts up again. It's still the highest rated show on TV and the Idol audience still loves her.
I would think, given Kelly's bond with the huge Idol audience, that the chance to promote the album on Idol would be reason enough by itself to have a fourth single. The album wasn't even in stores yet when she performed MLWSWY.

What are the last known sales for "IDNHU"? Can't find a total but I know it's past 500k in downloads. I think its somewhere in the 600-700k total

I stand corrected. I thought she performed in February.
Kelly has objected before to promoting her album on Idol Gives Back.

Oh I didn't mean promoting the album, I just meant performing in general. Something I'm sure us fans would enjoy.
I remember her comments back in 07 about how RCA wanted her to perform NA at Idol Gives Back. That would have been interesting if she did it. lol

People are saying there is no reason not to release a 4th single if there isnt a re-release or there is no new album on the way next year...and it would be good to keep her visibility up. Agree on all points - but the label doesnt care about that stuff. They want $ - unless there is an angle for them, they are not gonna spend more money for a 4th single. Like I said - we are on the bubble I think. My fingers are crossed.

FWIW, I saw a writeup on another forum of the pre-show in Pikeville KY where she sang "Close Your Eyes" - apparently somebody asked Kelly if she had plans to release it someday and she said yes, she'd like to release it on an acoustic or live album.

It may be a few years before she will be able to release that type of album, but I'll be first in line when she does.

It is such a good song. It really deserves a spot on an album. :) Perhaps she can incorporate it into the country/bluesy/rock album she wanted to make

I feel like I could be great friends with her if we knew each other in real life/she wasn't famous/etc. She is just so likable...I LOVE her personality and peppiness! I've been in a bad mood all night, stressed with a lot of work to do and just watching that put a smile on my face and got a chuckle out of me!

This is why I love her. It's cool that she said that this is her fav tour so far, I bet she's having a blast! And I totally feel her on losing passwords, I do it all the time.

Very well. Even though the concert was far from a sold out, a 6,000 crowd is satisfying. I am worried for the european dates being cancelled though.

They should push and promote AG in Europe.... perhaps they are waiting for AG to go top 5 in US before making any moves there. Anyway, why hasn't Kelly done any live/ acoustics sets like Unplugged or released tour videos? Would love to buy that one day.

Have there been reports of the European dates selling poorly? Not that i'm aware of, but she's only had one hit in Europe from this album ('My Life Would Suck Without You'). Especially for the U.K., this is not enough to sell out venues like the Wembley Arena. However, my bet is that Sony will give a major radio release to 'Already Gone' just in time. to create hype for the 2010 tour. It has already reached the top 20 in Switzerland and top 25 in Germany, though, both countries with concerts to be taking place.

I just did a quick search, theirs a sold out date in the UK, seats sold out at Manchester, seats still available at the back for Wembley, Cardiff a few floor seats still available,. Theirs still a few more months until the tour starts to sell more tickets.

Hopefully they promote "Already Gone" in Europe. I've always felt it would do well there, so I never really understood the cancelation of it.
Speaking of Europe, MLWSWY is the 33rd best selling song this year (thus far) in the UK with just under 300k sales.

Seems it would make sense to release AG for real (I gather it was already released but not promoted at all) in the UK in time for the shows to help sell the last remaining tickets and maybe get some albums sold while she's there. It has to be easier to promote a song to UK radio when it's already been Top 10 or better in the US (fingers crossed) and had success on a bunch of other pop, airplay and HAC charts around the world.

Definitely impressed by the position of BB radio, this Hot AC support must REALLY be helping. Hopefully it can peak, and stay at that position for a while, so that Pop peak can match it. I can see this goin top 10 on the Hot 100 with these kind of low sales if the two formats airplay peaks happen at the same time.

AMAs should help with the sale's part, hopefully pushing it a bit higher.
