Womanizer didn't leak before its radio premiere.

Cannot wait! Given that its producer is Max Martin and its name is 3, it could be a sequel to If U Seek Amy, where 1 boy, 1 girl and Brit are having a 3-way. Oh geez. I hope it's not and that it's actually something that has a little bit of substance and isn't just another song about how fun sex is.

Fail on the song name. WTF kind of song is called 3? Hope it's a lot better than it sounds by it's name.

I really want this to be a dark disco dazzling club banger ala Gimme More. But I have a feeling it won't be.

I have no idea what it could possibly be about? 3!? I'm getting the Ultimate Fan Box ASAP. Dream come true for Britney fans. It's exactly what we wanted. Every single and every video.

I wonder if this can pull a "Womanizer" and go #1 on Hot 100 based on downloads alone. What's its competition?

3 is actually interesting to me. I would rather have that than something that sounds generic. And if it is about three orgasms all the better

All I know is that it'll be a catchy as hell pop song. Max Martin did this so we should not expect club-bangers like Gimme More, Break The Ice etc. The 3-way subject definitely makes sense but I don't know if I like it. Hopefully it'll surprise us.

She isn't going to be selling 300k off of a Greatest Hits single. Aguilera's KGB could only land 140k with a month long repressed single, numerous high profile performances on the VMA's and AMA's and a music video. I don't see this doing huge digital numbers even though Britney is a huge digital mover. I'm expecting 140k + first week at the most.

I don't get how 'greatest hits' singles should not sell well digitally. They're still brand new songs and can become big hits if they're solid.

This guy on digitalspy who is VERY reliable (he said 3 was the new single a week ago, he was right obviously) just said this "Ok Some of the lyrics are 1,2,3 got the Media with me.....Don't need you anymore....So just get on the floor" "Its a Massive club banger" "I'm hearing its a WOMANIZER 2.0 so its super, super dancey and amazing with pure pop written all over it, the fan's are absolutely gonna love it, she'll be recording the video in 2 weeks time with the single set to be revealed on radio around the same time" (he said this on the 12th) www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1126654&page=2

But I am glad that it's going to be a club banger. But it's probably going to be along the lines of SW kind of banger.

Sounds like typical Britney fare...if it is, don't see it being that big of a hit.

Then yeah, I don't expect big numbers for it because Target exclusives rarely sell numbers on par with exclusives at like...Wal-mart. I would expect around 100K for an exclusive.

It isn't an exclusive. I believe they're talking about digital single sales, where KGB opened with 140k sold. The album itself barely sold 60k first week.

Yeah it isn't a target exclusive. Aguilera was just the most recent case of Greatest Hit's itits. I am also not expecting the Singles Collection to sell all that well either. I think it will be lucky to go gold.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh I was confused I was thinking of the album-you mean THE SONG. Oh lol. I thought 150K was pretty good for KGB-I assume Britney's will sell more. Maybe 200K? 225K? I also thought KGB opened with like, 75-80K (the album)-not under 60K. I must have my numbers mixed up. I see Britney's GH going gold, but probably not platinum. I am assuming it will sell 700K easy.

^ Keep in mind Circus sold 210k it's first week. I am not expecting it to do that well. I also am not expecting her newest greatest hits to sell any where near Blackout numbers.

I thought Circus sold over 500K in its first week. Or do you mean the single? Ok, I people need to stop naming albums and songs the same title LOL. Yeah, Circus "only" opened with over 200K, but this is technically a new single and not a second single from an album already available. I would assume it will do the same if not better because of that. I guess it also depends on how hungry people are for her and how much they promote it.

Yeah Circus the single. I would say Circus got the "first single treatment". It had an adds date around November and got a live performance and music video debut on the week it was first available which was the week of the album release. I am just not expecting huge things for this. lol.
