Just another example of a fallacy permeating the media and becoming widely excepted "fact." She had her first 4 singles hit #1 on Pop radio, and that hasn't happened since Mariah. It's being spun and taken out of context in a way that's leading everyone to think she actually had 4 #1 singles (i.e. Hot 100.) Actually everything is just wrong. That especific chart was created in 1992, so it has nothing to do with either Jackson 5 or Mariah previous records. It happened the first time with GaGa. Such a mess.  And further proof that TV hosts *don't* do actual research or fact checking before saying these things on the air. |

I got the Fame Monster CD yesterday. It was only available as a double-CD though but since The Fame CD had 3 non-released-in-Canada tracks, it wasn't a total loss. Although they took out 'Again And Again', which I did like. One thing I didn't like was that the Fame Monster CD was Clean... the Fame disc wasn't. Weird. I'm a free bit baby. ...  @ "free bit". I think it's so funny. I can't wait to trade it for an uncensored one though. |

"Free bit" was very bothering and annoying. I've only listened to it once, but the first half > the second half.

I got my copy of The Fame Monster yesterday at FYE for $9.99. It has just the 8 new songs and it's the cover with the black hair, which I wanted but I am also upset it is censored! It doesn't bother me as much in Bad Romance since I have the iTunes version with BITCH, but it REALLY bothers me on Dance In the Dark and Monster! Who is Susan Boyle? Screw her! I want The Fame Monster to hit #1 on Billboard!

I really don't understand how you guys can rank this album. There's not one track I don't like. I thought 'Teeth' would be atrocious after some of the comments, but it's awesome! The only complaint I have about this album would be the talking parts in 'Teeth'. It's reminiscent to Madonna's 'Human Nature', only it worked in that song.
'Telephone' is brilliant. The busy signals in the background is genius. Props to whoever's idea that was. 'Speechless' sounds like it came right off of the Across The Universe soundtrack. It's a fantastic song, but I don't know if I see pop chart potential in it. Definitely VH1/Hot AC play.
I'm not sure what the 3rd single should be, but 'Alejandro' should come after that.

So about 350K altogether! I believe that's what I predicted!I messed up. I think TFM and the TFM (Deluxe) will cumulatively sell 250K trending upward, and that's only because a) she's on fire right now and b) it's being released November 23rd. If those weren't factors, my prediction would be a lot lower. I have a tendency of overestimating my album sales though, so I'm sure I'll be wrong. WRONG! I predicted 250K! I'm pleasantly surprised! :) |

They'll be listed separately on BB200 right? Those numbers are AWESOME. She's proven she only releases huge singles but she's also becoming an albums artist.
Is "Telephone" the official 2nd single or will they just let it gather buzz? I'd love SHICD to be a single...and "Alejandro"...and "Speechless".
