She mumbled something while we got down on the floor We mightβve fucked not really sure, donβt quite recall But something tells me that Iβve seen him, yeah That boy is a Monster.
The thing that's bothering me the most about the censored version of "The Fame Monster" is the awkward "We might've _______________ not really sure, don't quite recall"
They could have put so many other words in there instead of leaving it blank, I don't think GaGa intended for the censored version to be released first.
Anyway, my rankings from the other day are totally different, I think I put Monster last??? Now it's one of my favorites, but the whole album is amazing.
I'm not too impressed with the album art, but I rarely am with any artist. I do love the fact that the CD is black, and the simple white print. The pictures are enough to keep my satisfied.

When do you all estimate the uncensored versions will be released? I think it's weird that they edit B!+ch and F^^k but they do NOT edit s#!+ on "Teeth"...

SHICD positively SCREAMS single, just like "Starstruck" did in my opinion. I hope they don't ignore it like they did that track. SHICD positively screams solid album track

The only other singles I hear off of TFM are Monster and Telephone. After that they need to go back to The Fame if they want to drag out more singles.

Nobody cannot say she isn't talented. That's the one feature about her that is undeniable. She could bust out with a Norah Jones-esque album if she wanted too.

It just goes to show that everything she is doing now is all a product. Manufactured. She is really talented.

I wouldn't go that far to say she is manufactured. She had fragments of her current artistic self when I first saw her in Austin at SXSW a few years back. The label isn't pushing this image on us. She is.

I disagree. It's a conscious decision & collaboration between herself & the label. You've got to understand, this is her first album. You really think she has that much leverage? That's not how the industry works.

It just goes to show that everything she is doing now is all a product. Manufactured. She is really talented. People tell me that every. day. since that video surfaced. I passionately (but always respectfully ;)) disagree. Sitting behind a piano belting every other line is not showcasing more talent than she does lately. What she does now is maddeningly catchy pop music with memorable lyrics and daring aesthetics attached. Whether we like it or not, she stands out and is defining current pop music - and pop music is an art and does require talent. "Captivated" and "Electric Kiss" (especially the latter, oh goodness) are mediocre and beyond forgettable, both lyrically and melodically. If that is what she was releasing, nothing would separate her from a legion of Starbucks-imposed singer/songwriters. Is that what talent is? Eh.

That's not how the industry works. Again, this woman was burning hairspray in her underwear on stages in Lower East Side clubs singing pop music well before any label had even heard of her. Leave it up to GaGa and she still won't sing "Electric Kiss" behind a piano. Maybe she's every label's dream, but this is definitely what she wants. Her drive and passion don't lie.

I agree with that too. I'm not saying "Lady Gaga" music doesn't demonstrate or represent talent. It does, because if it were easy, everyone would do it. I'm just saying "Lady Gaga", as we know her, is a product & very thought-out. Herself in that YouTube video is more organic & natural. I still think she's very talented.

She's a product, and she's thought-out - in big part by herself. It's clear she is trying to recreate the Warholian ideal and to apply it to a music career. That is what makes Lady Gaga a phenomenon. She's not just her music, she's not just her look; there are a whole bunch of variables she controls/tries to control to, ultimately, sell Lady Gaga. As a character, a persona. But I digress, of course. Organic and natural, yes. But is it more "her"? I really am not so sure.

Nobody cannot say she isn't talented. That's the one feature about her that is undeniable. She could bust out with a Norah Jones-esque album if she wanted too. Truth. It's that surprising (to those who discover it) versatility and depth that will take her far in the industry. As long as she remains adept at staying in touch with what her fans and the public want from her, she can continue to transform herself while showcasing various facets of her talents off and also while garnering more and more fans. The Fame Monster has taken her to another level and I didn't think things could even get any better than the original The Fame era. She has converted a lot of naysayers into fans recently with the 1-2 punch/transition of "Paparazzi" and "Bad Romance". She has the goods to go a long way is my main point as long as she continues evolving and consistently making right decisions.

So after watching Lady Gaga's AMA performance I am now addicted to her. I never understood what the fuss about her was until now. Ive watched many of her older performances and all I can say is she is one talented person. She is always surprising with her performances. I LOVE her new album so much.

Just because she's pop and relies a lot on producers to enhance her sound rather then playing with JUST a piano or JUST a single instrument doesn't make her manufactured.
I think 'Dancing In The Dark' might be my favourite other than 'Bad Romance'.

Is that possible? If so I'm returning mine for the uncensored version. :) The back of my Best Buy reciept says "Opened music can be exchanged for the identical item..." within 30 days. It's possible, though, that the uncensored version may have a different barcode on it, which may not allow you to return the CD for that version. You'd have to check first... or try to somehow trick them.

If it's Worst Buy, they won't care. TRUST. I am forever in there switching items. One time, I even broke a DVD in HALF trying to pry it from the case. I brought it back immediately, told them I found it like that and they gave me a new one, no questions asked. I could just say that the Lady GaGa CD is glitchy or something and they will give me a new one. I need to make sure that all stores have the uncensored one before I return mine though, otherwise it's a waste of time. I doubt it will have a parental advisory sticker on it because she doesn't swear enough to validate one. The Fame didn't have one either.
