They are not backing ABC up.

Since his American Music Awards performance occurred GLAAD has consistently advocated that Adam Lambert and openly gay artists not be held to a double standard. As we have expressed publicly, it is disappointing that ABC will not give Lambert a chance to perform at this time. GLAADfs discussions with ABC focused on confirming that his sexual orientation was not a factor in their decisions. I know. Adam wants people to be talking about the music, he has been saying that in several interviews. He didn't mean for the AMAs to blow up into all people would talk about.

As for the song, it's doing good!

LOL, Adam has two threads on this board, but there is very little chart talk in either of them. It actually mirrors his time since he left AI, since the music hasn't been the focus for him or anyone else.

To stay on topic, I'll say that I think the song is doing fine right now. It has the backing of Z100, and even KIIS is playing it at least twice a day. I think it's journey up the chart will be slow, but normal for a new artist. And all of the hoopla surrounding Adam might even help the song, even though IMO, that sucks, since I prefer for the focus to be on the music, not staged controversies.

I wonder how much they're going to shell out for video #3. This isn't gaining any ground on itunes, and it isn't exactly taking off like a rocket on radio. The album is falling in a rather stone-like fashion as well, even with his latest "controversy". This entire "superstar" rollout grows more hilarious by the day. Why did it take RCA so long to realize that Lambert isn't Susan Boyle and actually needs radio? We'll just have to wait and see if Z100 moves this up in rotation or keeps it in mid-range and if that has any lasting effect on other stations. It doesn't look like KIIS is going to do a whole lot with it, but given its decidedly non-urban flavor, RCA should thank Seacrest and Co. (but something tells me they already have) for spinning it at all. It's a decent song (although I would rather hear Pink sing it) but it just doesn't seem like a "superstar" first (second? third?) single smash to me.

Get real. Adam is very polarizing, his singing/performing style is loved or hated to extreme levels. His sexuality is not universally accepted by everyone. There is no male pop star like him on the music scene today. He is doing well despite the fact he is facing some big challenges.

Remarking (accurately, btw) that a song isn't flying up the charts and that an album is dropping in sales does not equal "trolling". LOL. The fact is that this song isn't doing any better in the early stages than Kris' single did and it was quickly labeled a flop. So....how is this any different? Oh, right, I keep forgetting, it's just the "homophobia" thing again. Seriously, how long are Lambert's fans going to keep crying, "But, but, he's gay!" as some sort of explanation for his unremarkable radio and sales performance given the intense media hype. i would think the first video was payed out of the 2012 movie budget considering it was there to advertise the movie- it wasn't a hit but it did get a lot of attention and more than made up for whatever budget it might have had, considering half the video are clips of the movie anyway.

I would love to think this could be a decent sized hit for him- but i'm too worried about it hitting a brick wall so I will just quietly hope for the best here- I really like it.

Down to #144 on itunes. Wasn't it about 30 spots higher yesterday? Not that position mean a whole lot when a song is that low on the chart.

This song has not been officially realesed as 2nd single yet
And don't ignore the fact that Adam's album has sold much better than Kris's

Kris's single sales was bad even though he released his single months before the album is due . In that situation people were a lot more likely to buy a single since they couldn't get their hands on the album for some time.

Yes, it has been released as the single. It went for adds the week of Thanksgiving. There's a screen shot a few pages back showing that.

Is it listed as a single on Itunes store?

Itunes doesn't list songs separately as singles if they are released as singles after the album is released, unless there is a radio edit version.
