i think the initial post confused the ranking for ''fye'' with 'wwfm''... ''fye'' is currently #136 on the itunes overall singles chart, ''wwfm'' is #181... why are the ohp spins and the airplays increases not translating into sales for wwfm... it's not like a growing audience doesn't know it's out there... especially the z100 listening audience...

It's too soon to say the audience doesn't like this song. The current airplay is irrelevant, pretty much.

This song is being played, so far, for reasons that are not the reaction of the public. (Why? Hint: Adam is an international superstar and radio was dying to play any song from him.)

If it goes like top 30 selling less than 10k per week, then you may say people don't like it that much.

Any thoughts on the next single?

I love sleepwalker and think it will go far, different from what's out there right now. But ita that they might try another uptempo single before they close with sleepwalker, hopefully. He's been talking up If I had You a lot lately, so Im thinking that might be the next single.

soundscene, icam on RCA/profits. Adam is high maintenance and its obvious that RCA is pulling out all the stops. But seems like the AI competition is still going on for some. Its over and has been for months, these two aren't only competing against each other but the more established artists in the music biz. I'm a fan of the both of them but you see people going ahh negate the other stuff as long as so and so sold more his first week. Yeah but the long run is all that matters, Jive and RCA care about making profit from their artists not some validation competition between fans over a reality tv show.

I think his sales will increase after his performance in SYTYCD finale. Hopefully Fox won't pull an ABC and won't cancel his performance in the last minute..

I hope it can pass Muse today. WWFM deserves to pass them and stay in the top 50.

I think Sleepwalker is the only other song that has CHR potential in the US. But it's a bit similar to WWFM, with the slow verses and sweeping chorus.

If WWFM does well then IIHY and Sleepwalker are the obvious next choices, IMO. I don't hear any other CHR hits on FYE other than those but he has a handful of good tracks that would be a bit off-kilter for radio but make decent artistic statements like "Soaked," "Music Again," "Pick U Up" (killer vocal!), "Fever" or "A Loaded Smile." I can also see "Aftermath" as a both a single and the Idol castoff song.

Part of me also wants "Strut" released because I think it would make a fagulous video. I envision a fashion runway video that's George Michael's "Too Funky" meets En Vogue's "Free Your Mind" meets a hit of ecstasy.
