lol breaking news... but this isn't american idol. i could care less what kris sells or not.
adam does not have great sales for all the appearances and all the promo he has, especially during Nov/Dec, the big sales weeks.
he just doesn't sell many albums overall. it's not just digital.
Just because you don't agree it doesn't make other trolls. And I've been her longer than you sweetie
sorry to break the facts to you... his numbers are not great.

Historically he is not a very good seller overall Oh and I meant to say-that statement right there above me? Is hilarious, coming from a Kelly Clarkson fan. For someone with 3 Top 10 hits in less than a year, Kelly should be selling a hell of a lot more than she is. She SHOULD have Lady Gaga type numbers. Adam's just getting started. If anyone has disappointing numbers, it's Kelly, who if I recall correctly, ALSO had an Oprah appearance,during her first promo week, and it didn't seem to do much for her sales. Nothing did, really. Oh and FYE the album is up to #7 on Amazon. Awesome :) |

His album sales are nothing worth celebrating. Kris and Kelly won't make it better for you.

lol like I said, comparing to those two won't make his numbers better. they're bad, and his performaces haven't sold many album for him.
i don't care what kris or kelly sell. i could care less about kris and his bland music, and with Kelly she's not a new star, she has millions sold already.
back on topic, which is Adam, neither the album or the singles are selling something worth talking about, even after all that TV promotion.
sony is not celebrating, sony is desperate to pimp him and help him sell a bit better

Well, it was Kelly fan that started going on and on about how Adam's sales are nothing special, which is absolutely hysterical coming from a Kelly fan, seeing as how bad Kelly's sales are in relation to her massive airplay and TV promo.
If Adam got as much worldwide promo as Kelly has, he'll be in great shape. As of right now, RCA and 19E are still firming up plans for Adam's worldwide promotion.

Anyone else hear him perform "Strut" on Oprah during the rehearsals when the two fans visited? I wonder if he was considering performing that instead of "If I Had You."?

You know, there was a point in my life where I laughed at artists who had older fans, but now? Hell, looking at SuBo, it's obvious that middle aged women are probably the only group of fans out there still buying CD's en masse. I say, if they like Adam's songs or performances, then please by all means, I hope they buy his album. The more the merrier. A sale is a sale. Adam played it perfectly on Oprah today by going with the Elvis thing, bringing his mama, and treating Oprah like a gentleman should. I mean seriously-he even kissed her hand and led her down the stairs. He did amazingly well.

Anytime an artist gets featured on Oprah is a a great day. And he should get a good boost from the show for this week anyway.
I can't imagine what 19 are thinking with the really bad albums sales this year. The only reason Adam's look good is because Kris Allen's are terrible. But Archie was 130K ahead of Adam at this same point last year. I guess with Oprah and if WWFM continues to sell the album, FYE could match Archie's total sales of 750K. But that's not guaranteed.
And you can't blame the promo because Adam has had terrific promo. I just think the Idol brand has gotten tired.

True, also sales continue to erode each year...album sales in 2008 were better than 2009 and 2009 will likely be better than 2010. "Crush" also received more airplay than Adam at this point. iTunes single chart seems to be frozen...I'm itching for updates! lol |

Yup. That "bump" was more like a massive kick in the ass. Mission accomplished. Archie's not gay? Lol. I totally thought he was ;) J/k. I can't even think of him in a sexual way. It's like thinking of a puppy in a sexual way. He's just...Archie. All cute and adorbs and such. I watch Archie interviews when I'm sad or upset because you can't help but smile watching him talk. It's the cutest thing. |
