He didn't "dumb his image down". He's said various times that he changes up his look to fit the song he's doing, and of course it wouldn't look right if he's all glammed up for this song.

According to Vevo's website, Adam's VEVO commercial is their 3rd most popular video on the site today, and the music video for WWFM is the 9th most popular. Not bad! 2 videos in the Top 10 on Vevo is pretty awesome!

Nice airplay update for pop...hot ac is slowing down but if pop takes off then hot ac will most likely follow. Also nice showing on the iTunes video chart...wished those units counted towards the Hot 100!

The "Strut" performance on Ellen is nice promo for the album.

So far 9 Top 40 ads and 2 HOT ads for the week and all stations have yet to report...better ads week than last week. I believe 84 stations are now playing it...roughly 60%.

Hmm I'm seeing 13 pop adds and 2 hot ac...either way good week and an improvement over last week. 62% of pop panel is now playing this!

Look at the combined report. You'll see 15 Pop adds. He got 2 adds from smaller "Activator" stations. Much better than last week where he only got 6 adds, and only 4 US adds (2 Canadian)

I'd go for either IIHY or Sleepwalker for the next single. Music Again wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Strut was only middle of the pack for me as far as the CD as a whole goes, but seeing it live changed my mind completely. I still think IIHY will be the next single, but Strut wouldn't be bad as like.. a 5th single or something.

Music Again/IIHY are risky for American radio. Fever would work, but it describes his lover as a 'he." Strut might be the best option for a single, if they must release a fast song. Looking at the fate of FYE and what went over best on Idol, releasing any fast song, however appropriate, however free of sexuality, is risky. Americans seem to prefer Adam singing slow, sad, asexual songs.

I'd say release Fever internationally, and release Sleepwalker for the American market.
