I really want Carrie to choose some riskier singles. Safe isn't going to move albums at this point. She has already sold a ton, but I would like to see her choose something other than the safe/easy choice. And what you consider a riskier choice? Look At Me because of it's more traditional sound? I could see it having a bit of difficulty reaching #1, but also doing what ITYS did during the end of the CR era.

Tweets say Carrie is at the Oscars red carpet. Umm, Carrie is online at the fan club right now. So unless she's really bored, it might have been a case of mistaken identity.

She has already sold a ton, but I would like to see her choose something other than the safe/easy choice. I agree with this. It is just so hard to pick singles. If only they would go 6 songs deep on this album, there would be more opportunities to play around and take a risk this time. ie- if they went this way I would be happy: Single 3: Undo It (Spring/Early Summer 2010) Single 4: Quitter or This Time (Late Summer 2010) Single 5: SWISLY (Fall/Winter 2010) Single 6: What Can I Say (Spring 2011)

I don't really think there's any song on her album that would be a "risk" to release as a single. Granted, if Undo It is released, it would probably be the most predictable choice.

I think releasing WCIS would be quite risky.

"Undo It" to me is the most conventional choice. As said before, it's the most successful non-single off the album so far. It's also one of the pre-released songs which may mean it was already a favored single. It's a great summer single with a very catchy chorus. It's also a very short song which radio loves because it takes up less air time. With that said, I'm going with "Undo It" as the next single.
Spring/Summer 2010: "Undo It" Summer/Fall 2010: "What Can I Say" Fall2010/Winter2011: "Someday When I Stop Loving You" Winter/Spring2011: "This Time", or "Look At Me"
In my opinion, "Look At Me" would be an amzing album era closer, and once again remind people why Carrie is defined as a Country artist. It's a song people will just fall in love with. It's sweet and beautiful. "Look At Me" could easily be the ITYS of this era, I believe it has the potential to be one of Carrie's biggest hits! It's my favorite song off the album, and everyone I've talked to about the album has said it's one of their favorites as well. I think "Look At Me" could be the under-dog song of the era.

It's a great summer single with a very catchy chorus. I disagree with that. I find the processed sound cringing. I think the chance of three ballads being released in a row is very low. It's one of the reasons why I would prefer a ballad to follow Temporary Home.

I don't think releasing "What Can I Say" is risky. I think the song has great potential as its topic is easy to relate to.

I'm all for This Time being released, it's a great song, upbeat, and I think it's different than most of her other songs.

I think single #3 is definitely gonna be "Undo It". Wish it would be "Songs Like This". I think the problem with this album is all the highlights IMO are ballads (minus "Cowboy Casanova").
I think "What Can I Say", "Someday When I Stop Loving You" and "Look At Me" rank in the top 5 best songs on the album along with "Temporary Home" and "Cowboy Casanova". I hope they go 6 deep with this album and release:
Single 3: Songs Like This Single 4: Someday When I Stop Loving You Single 5: What Can I Say Single 6: Look At Me
Unfortunately I just don't see that happening as I'm pretty sure one of those three ballads will not get released, probably "What Can I Say" or "Look At Me" considering all the critics praise for "Someday When I Stop Loving You". I think "Look At Me", although many may disagree, should really be a single as it really opens Carrie up and reflects how she feels in her life right now. I'm a little biased though as I've fallen in love to that song.

She's excited for the tour and her upcoming birthday. Tells us all to avoid YT videos, because she wants us to really experience the show.
Also, discusses how the production is beautiful and more grand.

I, on my side of the world, will live and die by the YT videos. That's all I'll have of the show.
Please, please, concertgoers! Please upload videos!

I agree, Someday..., What Can I Say, This Time, Look At Me, Quitter, and for me even Unapologize are just notable standouts that should get airplay and be released as singles over any of the uptempos.

Why does it that most people don't like Unapologize? It's an excellent midtempo, a great topic (it's so true lol) and she sounds awesome as usual. I mean, is it because it's the poppiest song on the album but I still think it's great!

I have no problem with Look at Me closing out the album, as long as SWISLY is released too. But then What Can I Say would be cut. It is really hard to pick as I love all 3 of those ballads. Look at Me is definitely one of the most beautiful songs on the album, and Vince Gill's voice with Carrie's is brilliant.
^ I like Unapologize. I guess it is overlooked for some reason as there are so many choices.

I'd say these are the label's choices. 1. Cowboy Casanova 2. Temporary Home 3. Undo It 4. What Can I Say 5. Look At Me

I'm happy as long as What Can I Say is released (and Mama's Song and Play On are NOT). *Contemplating getting a ticket for Providence* I got one for Worcester but not sure I want to wait that long to see the show, haha.

Don't be surprised if PO is released as a single during Soul Surfer's theatrical release.

Don't be surprised if PO is released as a single during Soul Surfer's theatrical release. Maybe so but only for promotional purposes of the movie, not as a legitimate single, and if so...

I want Play On for the AI cast offs theme. I know it's a long shot because HSH was used last season but extra publicity can help push sales.

I want Play On for the AI cast offs theme. I know it's a long shot because HSH was used last season but extra publicity can help push sales. That song has already been decided. "Leave Right Now" by Will Young. They've started using it on the show already. Judging from the official press, it sounds like they'll be using this one song for the whole of season 9 (unlike a previous season where they changed song after semifinal ends).
