Thanks for such an in depth review, T. Sorry you didn't get to see Carrie play the piano.
I like the JAD/TH skirt from last night much better than one from Reading. The ethereal look fits better with those songs, I think.
WCIS from Reading including Ashley's extra solo at the end:

^Mmm I'm not sure about that solo lol. I mean I dont think it's necessary, maybe they do that to give Carrie a few more seconds to change?
I really really like the way JAD is introduced, the mandolin (I think?) and everything and how the music flows into the introduction of the song.

Production team was late again tonight. I'd guess tonight will be missing the same props as last night's show.

Thanx guys. Sorry my videos were not great, as most were taken from my blackberry as I was too scared to sneak in a camcorder as security was tight last time. Jeff's pictures are much better then mine too, as my camera didn't like the lighting in the venue for some reason.
Luckily high quality videos are popping up on youtube from Albany so we can use those instead. I just worried that if I didn't take as much as I could, we might have nothing at all...as I noticed that for the Carnival Ride tour, videos were inconsistent. Some cities we got like tons, but other cities, nothing.
^Maybe they will work out the glitches soon. Are their drivers slow or something? I thought maybe the truck broke down or they got in an accident last night, but if they are late tonight too then maybe they need a bigger crew to help unload, etc, or a new driver. lol
PS----- WGNA was raving about the whole concert in Albany. They loved Carrie and Craid, and seemed really excited about the show. They liked SOS too.

Maybe with them taking the props down and putting them in the vans, driving to the next venue, then unloading them and setting them up takes longer than they had figured out time wise. I'm just guessing this but they probably hadn't practiced this out on the road. But aren't they suppose to be professionals. Or maybe it is something else. Like I said I am just guessing.

I can understand that maybe they cant have ready the tree because they have to be careful with that, the lifting and everything, and that has to be done before the show starts obviously. But taking out the rocks or the piano cant take that long I say. And they can do that even if the show started already. Maybe the truck is taking a lot of time to get ready.

Well ,they'll get it sorted out eventually or they will have to probably remove stuff permanently. I just hope it's not the piano. I really want to see that part. Also, they need to take their time especially with the truck. Safety first! lol

I finally got to watch the video of Carrie playing the piano in Reading PA. Oh my god is was so pretty the way they had it turn around etc. Too bad I missed that but maybe she will come to NYC in the Fall and I can see her again.

T, I really ENJOYED reading your super-detailed review. It almost felt as if I were there. Thanks for all the pics and links, too ! I am even now more excited about seeing Carrie live this Tuesday :)
ETA: Love that Miranda and Carrie video. I am hoping that Carrie is asked or signs on for a few Lilith Fair shows, because I am still awaiting that elusive Kelly/Carrie duet- hehe. Lastly, I don't know quite why, but I really do not like 'Quitter'. Carrie's vocals sound good but the flow of the verses into the chorus sounds so off on the record to me and even more so live as if key or melody abruptly changes...haven't put my finger on it yet, lol.

The tree is up tonight. So, I'd guess tonight's show will have all the props. Looks like they might have totally scrapped the rock during SWISLY.
Carrie/Craig duet on Chasin' That Neon Rainbow. 90's Country.

I'm pretty much obsessed with the Summer of '69 cover.
And, I don't think the end of UI was ever posted over here. So here ya go:

Carrie cut out "Single Ladies" from "Songs Like This" in Albany. No wonder you couldn't remember her singing it, tsharky. I wonder why. Does anyone know if she put in back in for Providence?
"Change" without the LED dress is still amazing, maybe even more so. I'm just drawn in by Carrie's passion and emotion when she sings it.

"Temporary Home" jumps up to #3 on Mediabase! Should hit #1 by the 28th if nothing crazy happens.

Looks like mod134 got the entire Providence concert. He's put up full videos of CC, Quitter and Wasted so far and he's numbering them (1. Cowboy Casanova; 2. Quitter....) In the intro, look at how the audience reacts to each burst of light from the stage. So cool! That would be a great reaction to capture on the tour DVD *fingers crossed* Wasted is always awesome!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who posted the videos. And thanks tsharky for your detailed recap :)
I'm just in AWE watching all the videos. The whole concert looks SO AMAZING that I've got chills just by watching YT videos. Just OMG her voice! She HAS to let her international fans experience this whole production!

Here's the duet w/ Craig Morgan: Thanks to annie72363! That vid also includes a "Dadgummit!" and Carrie's introduction of the band members. Ed's not there so Carrie pretends to be him Now I can answer my own question about "Songs Like This" as performed in Providence. "Single Ladies" is back!

I don't mean to be mean, but Craig Morgan looked constipated singing with carrie. perhaps with a better audio and video it will be better.
