Well, the other thread won't let me reply dunno why.
"Dangerously In Love" is gaining a lot of audience and also spins right now. It's currently sitting at #60 on "Urban" with 9,1 million audience and this is very much.
Does anyone have the link for the song menu where you can look up total audience etc.? That would be nice.

Thank you!
I don't know why, but "DIL (2)" is really doing good. It's at 13,0 million today with only 428 spins.
On "Urban", it's one of the 20 greatest gainer with only 14 stations playing the song.
Hopefully this song will enter the BB Hot 100 ;)

That's very good. DIL is a nice song, and hopefully it will push her album up more.

So the track, "Dangerously In Love", is now #77 on the Billboard Hot 100? He/she said it was for the album. The Hot 100 tracks songs; the Hot 200 tracks albums.

...the Hot 200 tracks albums. Actually it's just called the Billboard 200.
Jens already mentioned that it was the album the moved up to #77 in her post and that was even quoted.

This week "Dangerously In Love" makes a significant jump on the R&B singles chart from #71 to #43. That's good! Maybe the song can jump in the Top 40, but it won't be a big hit anyways (remember, we get a new DC single in September ;) )

It debuts at Number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100. Now that the DC3 single is out, this song is going to be forgotten about by radio PDs pretty fast. Then again, it may have the opposite affect. "Lose My Breath" is definitely more Pop leaning. For instance, out of the gate it got 144 Pop spins its first night compared to 25 Urban spins. Maybe this will leave Urban even more thirsty for "R&B Beyonce" instead of "Pop DC3"

But this isn't even a single. It's just a really big album track.

she must have some really big stations playin this because she doesnt really have a ton of spins and she is already loosing spins at urban but gaining at rhythmic at thats what pushed her over. all u need is a handful of big stations playing your song to get the audience u need for the hot 100. Most people arent lucky enough to get the benefit of having the biggest stations in the country to play a 3 year old album track on their own and chart on the hot 100 without the help of smaller stations. Must be nice to be Beyonce ;)
But they will forget about this song once "lose my breath" takes off and she isnt even promoting DIL.

But this isn't even a single. It's just a really big album track. Regardless, Urban radio is playing it and the amounts to which they continue to do so will most likely be affected in one way or another by the new DC single.

So do you all think that "Lose My Breath" and the new DC3 album will go towards catapulting "DIL" *the single* up the Hot 100?
She might even end up making a video for this song if it's progression up the Hot 100 goes well.

So did Columbia intend for "DIL" to be the fifth single from her album?
Was this pushed for radio play by Sony?

No, it wasn't released just played by radio. It won some more audience since Tuesday (24 million right now) and will probably crack the Top 50.

Why has radio suddenley decided to start giving this song drastic airplay? well it was released on her concert DVD and BET has been playing the live video a lot. i don't think it's actually going anywhere, it just barely managed to debut this week, and it was thanks to audience gains without much spin gain

While I am inclined to agree with you I can't help but notice the jumps this song is making.
