This is a nice radio-friendly single, and just what i expected them to release next. (they had to go with something upbeat and catchy after "Fifteen") I think "Fearless" should easily get Taylor back into the top 3, and likely back to #1.

The song was just sent out to radio. Two different versions were sent out - the album version (4:00) and a single version (3:40). It sounds like the single version has some extra instrumentation in the intro, but I'm not good at describing stuff like that so someone else will have to do it.

Yeah, what they've done is taken out the first 10 seconds or so, which is why it sounds different. They've also turned up the guitar and organ over the mandolin and drums.

YES!!! Finally, this gets released. It should go Top 3 easily and maybe #1. Honestly, this should've been the fourth single instead of the crappy, "someone-was-probably-high-when-they-picked-this" choice of Fifteen.

This should have been released after "You Belong With Me". I love "Fifteen", but this was clearly a better choice. I can't wait to see how this does at radio.

I really hope "Forever And Always" gets sent out as a sixth single. This one will do great at radio, but it isn't as good as "Forever & Always". I do think this will get her back to #1, though. It's catchy and relatable to her target audience.

I always saw this as a close-out to the album era type single. I'm still holding out hope that You're Not Sorry or Forever and Always will get sent out, but, again, kind of see this as an album close-out single.
But this is obviously single material. Very radio friendly, and have always thought it was a hit waiting to happen. Very excited for this. :)

Yay! The best track on the album and one of countrys great songwriters Hillary Lindsay on here too! I don't think it gets much better than Taylor and Hillary collaborating :) This reminds me of Carrie's Wasted, another song I love. Its real country driving much and I see it going straight to the top. :)

Predictable, but good, choice for the next single. I would've like to see Big Machine take a chance with something like "The Best Day" or "Breathe", but after "Fifteen" underperformed, "Fearless" was a good, safe choice. I see "Forever & Always" being the next single, if they go that far.

I heard they were deciding between this, "The Other Side Of The Door" and "Jump Then Fall" for the next single. Out of those, I am SO glad she picked this. The songs from her re-release (with the exception of the magnificent Piano Version of F&A) are all sub-par material that, imo, didn't make the original cut for a reason. I like every song from her original release better than all the songs on the re-release other than "The Best Day" which falls just behind JTF.
I was hoping for "Forever & Always" and "You're Not Sorry" to be the next releases. But I am stoked that this is getting released. This song really means a lot to me and I am so glad it is getting released. (It should have been the 4th single instead of the terrible choice of "Fifteen"). Hopefully "Forever & Always" can be the 6th single to close the album out.

I'm quite happy with this choice! I'm happy she didn't pick "The Other Side Of The Door", because that song isn't nearly as good as this one. And "Jump Then Fall" is just completely boring to me, and I consider it the worst on her re-release. But at the same time, I really want "You're Not Sorry" released! "Forever & Always" as well! The album has been a big enough success, so I don't see why they couldn't have a 6th and/or a 7th single. If Shania could do 12, this could definitely do 7.
If "Forever & Always" and/or "You're Not Sorry" don't see release, it's going to really make me hate "Fifteen"... because that was an awful choice from the beginning. Good song, but it wasn't single-material at all.

This is my favorite upbeat from "Fearless" so I'm glad it got released. Should do well and with a remix it'll cross over (shocker).

Definitely a smart choice, but not what I wanted. I hope this isn't the last single as there are so many more single-worthy songs on the album.

They should release You're Not Sorry. And I'm sure we'll see a pop mix soon. Ah well,,,

So they've given up on "Fifteen" at country, hm. What did it peak at on mediabase/billboard? I was so hoping for top five after everything else on this album went top 2.

I don't think we should be discussing pop mixes here lol, they could very easily be delivering a different single to pop/ac formats. Fearless is definitely the right decision for the country radio format. :)

All I wanted was You Belong With Me and Fearless to see release at radio so I'm stoked. Should have no problem bringing her back to the top 5, I really think Fifteen was the most unradio friendly song on her album and the poor peak was expected.

I wasn't pumped when "Fifteen" was sent out, but I did grow to like it alot more once it was on the radio. I am just disappointed it was released because "Forever & Always" is probably a longshot to see radio now, because six singles may be a bit much to ask for, and "You're Not Sorry" has been a hit waiting to happen for too long to ignore it if they go six deep.

Fearless seems like a good way to close out the album as far as singles go, but based on the success of this album it wouldn't surprise be if we end up seeing a sixth single.

I doubt they were expecting Fifteen to be a hit, everyone could see it wasn't going to do as well as her previous singles, what they were expecting with Fifteen was to give her some credibility in the song-writing department. Ever since the release of the cd, Fifteen has always been the critics darling, so, I think they got what they wanted.
