Are casino shows shorter than concerts in a different venue? I saw that David Cook also had a casino concert the same night as Adam and sang about 11 songs. Maybe the management doesn't want the show to go on so long that people are too tired to go back out and gamble after the concert is over. That is usually the case. Casinos don't want the people to be in a show longer than 90 min (usually). They want them to be entertained but not taken away from the real source of revenue (gambling). Apparently the drummer told a fan after the show that the casino limited them to 60 mins, hence the lack of banter with the audience, and the lack of an encore. Including the opening act, that would be about 90 mins. Does sound like a rip off considering the ticket prices, but such is life in a casino. |

Other gays have been in the Top 10 (but none of them out but Adam and he's not in the top 10) :) I thought he looked kind of silly at that casino show. In the older pics posted he looks like one of the "ladies" in RuPaul's drag contest. Not very current. The first two pics posted were from Halloween parties. He's always said that he's not into drag other than for Halloween. Personally, I thought his look at the casino show was awesome but that doesn't mean I expect everyone to agree. |

and there are now 128 stations spinning WWFM. It's slowly creeping up (it was 123 about 2 weeks ago) but I really hope that it gets some more ADDs this week.

It's now 9 adds by Cumulus. The group must be adding him. Hope they spin him, along w/adding him.
Also, according to Mediabase this is #2 in Canada Hot AC and #9 in Canada top 40.

And any conversation regarding another artist that may or may not be gay is imo irrelevant. Adam was out of the closet before he had any radio presence. Even if Derulo or Keys or Clarkson or any other artist rumored to be gay is revealed to be gay, that artist will already have radio presence and will not face the same situation that Adam faced. |

It's not unusual if RCA finally convinced them to add. Some songs never get a Cumulus add, regardless of chart placement. And some songs get adds late in their run. A deal has been made, so they're adding now.

LOL, LO peaked at #20, WWFM is already #18 and was already #18 even before Cumulus added.. your one-liners might have been relevant 3 weeks ago..  and I think both IIHY and "Sleepwalker" have better CHR potential than CBTM. Heck, for me "Sleepwalker" has more potential than WWFM too. |
