This song was underground last year and now it's finally breaking through with Hot 97 as one of it's leaders. He's Bob Marley's youngest son. This is the best reggae song I've heard in a very long time. The beat is hot really hot and the lyrics are actually meaningful which is more than I can say for most crossover reggae. Here's the video. It looks like it would have came out about 10 years ago, but that's beside the point. www.melodymakers.de/ram/jamrock-dsl.ram

I like this a LOT. However, as I said I don't see it doing anything outside of certain markets, but it deserves to blow up.
I also really like his version of "Could you Be Loved," his is titled "And Be Loved" and it was featured on the soundtrack of Blue Crush.

I heard it on WBLS last night. So now, all three of New York's urban stations are playing it. It would be great if other areas would catch on. It's the #1 song on New York's reggae hit list and it was recently #1 on London's reggae list too.

It's Top 10 at Hot 97 in New York. It's getting about 10M audience from the New York area alone!

It's good but it isn't catchy and that's why I don't think it will be a hit.

Yea this is more hardcore than I thought. Not catchy enough for national airplay.
I don't think it'll do much out of large Caribbean markets (NY, Hartford, Miami, Boston, rest of FL, etc..), but its def a hot jam. He sounds a lot cooler than Ziggy.

haha, not really HUGE like NY, Miami, or Toronto...but more so than other large American cities. I know that Hartford and Boston have decent-sized populations from the West Indies.

Hot 97 plays the s**t out of this. I like it though. Yeah... I like it too but I'm already tired of it thanks to Hot 97 and Power 105. It's not the type of song I can take in large doses for some reason, despite being one of the better song on their playlists.

Here in Texas, you hear shit like Nolia Clap and Mike Jones day in day out. I rather hear Jamaican rasta shit pumpin out than that crap 24/7.

It's in the Top 20 greatest gainer at Rhythmic and just about to hit the official chart. I LOVE watching a new song by an artist who doesn't get much airplay blow up from just having a few spins to being an actual hit! He really deserves it with this one.
