thanks nighttime for posting mediabase numbers!
glad Rude Boy will hold it down for another week...would love Telephone to get a week in at #1 but I know that's pretty impossible.
also impressed that Breakeven and All the Right Moves are still chugging along...glad these two great bands are getting some recognition. wonder how XXXtina will fare this time around?

Is there a way to know what's the Rhythmic position for Telephone?

I completely understand your point but at the same time we only recieved a few airplay updates and no digital download updates last week. What if airplay updates stop, does that mean we can no longer provide our input on future chart weeks bc our sources of this chart are absent? At some point during the week, this thread will open anyway. In the distant past, this used to open over the weekend. If people want to discuss the charts on thursday why should they wait until the weekend? If the thread is going to be opened anyway what's the point of waiting? Let people say what they want to say concerning next week's charts.

Honestly... at this point I feel like an American Idol performance from any of the acts in question (GaGa/Bey, Rihanna, Lady Antebellum, B.o.B, Taio Cruz) would practically guarantee a no.1...

Lady Antebellum should be booked for country week... but I'll bet they'll go with Taylor Swift or something.

Let people say what they want to say concerning next week's charts. This then becomes a moderator/admin issue I think. I just happen to agree with them here In 'General Music News' if you have something newsworthy to report to the board about next week's chart, then by all means, start the thread on Thursday. (I have posted my opinion in the past that I think that is too soon but, that is just my opinion) Otherwise, I may as well, just for kicks, start a thread about the Hot 100 on April 4, 2013 because I feel I want to talk about that one too.

That is just being childish, the OP starts the thread AFTER the billboard hot 100 positions have been posted. And he does it posting the positions of last week to help us in the predictions of THIS week. And let's be honest here, the Billboard Hot 100 chart is basically the only info we are getting these days. I vote for letting him continue starting threads.

Some weeks the thread starter is so anxious to get the next thread out, it comes before the current chart is even posted. But anyway, I am not making the decision, this is a moderator decision. I am just stating my opinion.

I vote for letting him continue starting threads. Epic Fail posted one week before the next week was posted with nothing to say, WotUNeed told him it was ok but not to do it in the future; Epic Fail posts the next week's thread with a c&p of the top 10 from last week with no cleanup, WotUNeed tells him he shouldn't have done that and to stop doing so; Epic Fail posts the the next week's thread with a c&p of the top 10 from last week with little cleanup. It's a matter of consistent moderator disobedience, end of story. Why should he be excused from that?

Radio doesn't look like it's taking to Ke$ha's second single like it did the first.
Can't believe "When I Look at You" isn't higher in airplay, following "Party in the USA"- it's in the similar vein to "The Climb," so it's prime for radio play.

Wow I didn't realize just how fast Rihanna's rise has been. No. 2 in 6 weeks on radio.
I agree with the moderator on the topic-starter.

Radio doesn't look like it's taking to Ke$ha's second single like it did the first. Not sure which one you mean. Blah Blah Blah was the second single, and that's basically over now. Didn't do terribly for a new artist's second single, but Gaga has raised the bar for people's expectations about immediate success, and combined with all the hype, that makes Ke$ha feel like a disappointment if she doesn't dominate the charts with every release. Your Love is My Drug is the third single and gaining steam on Pop as if it's about to start rocketing up the chart in the next week or so.

^Yes. Blah did ok on radio, but not in Tik Tok levels, but that was expected. Your Love... is off to a great start.
'When I Look at You' is actually dropping on Pop radio. I can't understand. I don't like the track, but coming from PITUSA and not making top 40 seems wrong. I guess it can rebound, but I don't know right now.

7. TREY SONGZ - Say Aah: 85.974 (- 0.889) ▼ I just heard this song on the radio (till now in my neck of the woods), and I can hardly comprehend why it's not doing better. Top 3 material IMO

Orianthi moved up a little bit on itunes cracking the top 20 and Ke$ha kinda just sustained her position.

I'm impressed with "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)." It's receiving a really good response despite the lackluster performances of most of Alicia's singles this era.
