I wonder how much farther Rude Boy will go on radio. It can possibly be the biggest radio hit in years. Yeah. It'll probably be the biggest since Single Ladies last year. Peaked at around 160 AI, #1 pop and urban, #2 rhythmic. I'm sure Rude Boy can match that.

Umbrella and Distubia might've been bigger hits, but idk about Take A Bow - if it's not above, it's on the same level.

"Take a Bow" was #1 for 6 weeks, while "Umbrella" was for 4 weeks and "Disturbia" wasn't even a Top 3, it peaked at #4. I can't find the numbers, but I do think that they are not needed.

Rude Boy is already set to match (exceed actually) the airplay of the singles you mentioned and might very well end up selling just as much. I think this could certainly end up being a bigger hit than Take A Bow and possibly Disturbia (though it will have a really hard time matching Umbrella's impact).

Rude Boy has easily exceeded all of the expectations. I was almost shocked when they went with it as the 3rd single, simply because hearing it initially on the CD, it didnt scream single at all. If anything, I saw it as a strong album cut. For once, (Wow, I cannot believe I'm actually saying this) Def Jam made a very wise decision.

Take A Bow reached #1 with pretty low numbers of airplay as i remember (95-120k) considering it didn't reach #1 at Pop & Urban at the same time and keep changing its position with Chris Brown's Forever day by day....

Really? I always thought Rude Boy would make a fantastic single. The song itself is the closest of all the material on Rated R to sounding like material during the Good Girl Gone Bad era. I believe Rude Boy easily has the broadest appeal of all the songs on Rated R.

No song passes 125M airplay today. It will be interesting if 'Rude Boy' is the biggest radio hit since 'Single Ladies' crossed more than 135M
